How Did I Not Know You Were Perfect For Me?
On the drive up to the Family Outing set, Kim Jong Kook took the time to relax and enjoy the cooling air conditioner in the car. It was a bit of a hot muggy day and he knew the next couple days would be more or less roughing it with his fellow FO cast mates. These trips to the country were always full of fun and surprises but there was no denying the lack of luxury in the accomodations. Nearing the location, Jong Kook continued his earlier musings about the identity of this week's guest. The talk among the PD staff was it would be another young celebrity who was fairly new to the variety circuit. The seasoned members were expected to help out and show their guest the ropes. Hopping out of the car, Jong Kook offered his greetings to Yoo Jae Suk who looked to be greeting everyone as they each arrived. Yoo Jae Suk was a great MC and Jong Kook was getting closer to him each week.
When the usual 'family' had finally gathered, they turned in unison to watch the approaching van carrying their guest. Just as Jae Suk hyung was formally making the introduction, Jong Kook had been distracted by Daesung being silly. He missed the name and by the time he turned to look, their guest had reached the group. Jong Kook came face to face with a little pixie face surrounded by unaffected wavy hair and a wide friendly smile. They locked eyes briefly and Jong Kook was delighted at the way her eyes krinkled as she gave a shy nod and small grin. His first thought was how sweet and cute she looked. Her slight stature and natural style were generally traits he found attractive in women.
By the time he came to his senses and realized he was grinning like a love struck fool, they were already moving towards Granny's house where their Family Outing would be set. He found out their lovely guest's name was Song Ji Hyo and he immediately recalled her as the host for one of the music shows.
