Dogg’s in... Dogg’s out…

            "Arrfff arff!! ARFFFF!!"

            "Arrfff!! Ruff... Ruff. Arrfff!!!"

It was a long loud night at the Stardom Dog Pound. It has been a while since Mr. Cho Jong Hoon, the owner of the pound decided to turn this stinky, rusty, old pound into something better... A puppy adoption center. A more customer friendly vibe, perhaps.

After hours of clearing up the store-front looking space near his pound, Mr. Cho rested against a huge cage behind him. “That was tiring.” He mumbled to himself. It was indeed tiring; he cleaned up the whole place, gave the thirteen puppies a bath, and bought supplies from the market, and a five-way trip to the pet shop for the cages. Well, at least, he is all set for the big day tomorrow.

Barks. Ruffs. Arfs. Countless animal noise hindering his supposedly calm and quiet sleep. He got up his bed and headed downstairs to check on the puppies. They all look giddy and excited.

“What’s with all that noise? Aigoo...” Mr. Cho shook his head as he crouch down to pet some puppies. An Irish Setter approached him. “Ohh. Atommie! You’re looking good. Ready for the big day tomorrow? Better be good, big guy.” He smiled as he gives the puppy a lift before putting him inside the cage.

                “Arfffffff.. arff..Eung.. eung…”

Mr. Cho was about to go back to his room when he heard a puppy cry. It’s from the cage where he put four Bichon Frise puppies together. The crying one is Byungjoo who has been being squished by another one Hansol. “Ehh. These two..” Mr. Cho chuckled as he moved Hansol away from Byungjoo, while the other two Bichon puppies, Hojoon and the biggest one, Xero, were busy sleeping. “Should I move you out, little cutie? You’ve been bothering Byungjoo for a while now.” He chuckled as he cup Hansol’s face while the puppy stares at him like begging to stay at the cage. “Alright.. alright..l let’s go to sleep now, little ones.” He turned the lights off, heads back to his room and spent another hour of sleep when his alarm clock rang.

                6:00 am. October 24, 2013.

Mr. Cho got up, headed out and checked the pups. He fed them first, and then proceeds on bringing them out one by one to the store front. It was almost 8am when he finished setting up everything, there are flower wreaths sent by friends to congratulate the opening of his adoption center, there were colorful flags everywhere, and of course, a white lion mascot to greet the guests.

The puppies were all running around the four play pen Mr. Cho built. All of them wearing name tags. Running, jumping, eating, goofing around and even teasing each other. Everybody looks friendly and all, but for one. The Rottweiler, PGoon. Mr. Cho’s afraid that no one would like him because he looks scary and wild, unlike the other large breeds, like Gohn the Border Collie, Sangdo the Shetland Sheepdog and
