“You heard me! Look I’m sorry not to tell you this first, but I had my reasons back, or maybe because I was too unsure of my feelings towards her, I didn’t want to confuse you with me” he explained, looking at her intently worried about her, she doesn’t look fine at all

“Y-you c-can’t…Oppa… oh my” she covered her lips not to sob

“What I have for her is not love, well not anymore I realized that when we got together lately… she had always been unsure about us, I was never a first option for her… I was serious about her, I even talked to her father, I seriously wanted her… but I did want much I guess.. “Oh it’s fine, we might hate something but then it turns out so well in the end, If you didn’t cheat on me that time , I wouldn’t have the REAL love of my life by my side, I might as well than k you for that” He smiled at her, genuine or not, but he didn’t feel the necessity of getting upset

“You’re lucky Yong, you deserve someone better than me, Joohyun is indeed way better than me” she bowed hr hair

“She is, and well I’m indeed lucky to have her” he felt like boasting but more like rubbing it into her face

He felt her silence, so he decided to cut the awkward atmosphere

“I’m moving to our hospital new branch in California, they’ll send another surgeon to replace me” she said slowly

He felt like he need to do it as a form of farewell, so he wrapped his hands around her and hugged back “Good luck then” he smiled softly

Just then the door knocked, making them break the hug, Yonghwa made his way to his table and sat on it, while Jae Hee just sat casually on the sofa across him, like nothing happened and the previous drama scenario was long discarded

He cleared his throat “Come in” he said expecting a patient or a someone from the staff but it was His girlfriend

He was so surprised, the happy kind of surprise, his heart feels lighter when he saw her, but then he tensed up as they were in a not very comfortable situation, Jae Hee was there….
