First of all, thank you again, dear reader, for making it through my almost 4k of I don’t even know what (I guess it can be described as seulgi meta (but I don’t even know her that well so I’m so sorry seulgi stans ;;)). And also the following is just dump of stuff I wrote on the side while writing this story. So I apologize for the randomness.

The story mentioned briefly is one of my childhood stories The Velveteen Rabbit, where a toy rabbit goes on a quest for his owner’s love so that he can become Real.

The religion part of this was just supposed to be a contrast to the growth of the characters, and by no means a jab at all at the church and organized religion. I wanted Seulgi be more like a sheltered choir girl who kind of grows into the woman she's meant to be

In case it isn’t clear, Seulgi is a lithromantic and Sungjoo is an aromantic. A lithromantic is described to be as someone who “naturally experiencing romantic love without desire for reciprocation” (x), or basically someone who likes relationships in theory but not in practice. The extent of this extends to being uncomfortable with returned affection to being downright repulsed by the idea of sharing intimate moments in reality.

The spectrum of ual and romantic orientation is so wide and so varied so I thought I’d try writing some of the lesser known orientations, I don’t know if I did it justice or not.
