People say that Mingyu is the lamest boy alive, and while Mina wouldn’t exactly contest that, she doesn’t mind because at least he’s lame in the most cringing, swoon-worthy ways possible (so i heard you’re a great dancer, he says. w-well, yeah, a ballerina, she answers, a tiny smile upon her lips. great! although i’m sure you’re the most graceful dancer ever, i guess the only way to find out would be if you were to dance with me, am i right? he’s holding out his hand, and she takes it).

People say that Mina is some ethereal princess, and while Mingyu wouldn’t exactly contest that, he would add the correction that she is his ethereal princess, thank you very much (she falls asleep after a night out and he wakes her up gently to tell him how to remove her make-up for her. not that you need any make-up to look pretty, he whispers as he dabs her skin with a cotton pad, wondering at how someone can be so graceful even if they’re asleep).

And so this is how it is: Mina laughing with wide open at one of his stupid pick-up lines again, Mingyu running around like the excited puppy he is but at the end of the day he doesn’t forget to keep her close and sneak kisses on her forehead - simple as that, and it doesn’t matter what the other people say.
