no, he's really not that annoying. she's just saying that he is.
"Hey! Class president!"
Nayeon whirls around, hand on her hip. "What now?" she huffs, sighing.
"Gosh, why do you always get so worked up whenever I talk to you?" Seungcheol rolls his eyes, draping his arm around her shoulders. She shrugs it off like it's the plague.
"What do you think? Because half the time we talk it's about nothing worthwhile. It's like you're trying to waste my time," she complains, shouldering her book bag.
Seungcheol wordlessly takes the bag from her, carrying it addition to his own backpack. She looks at him oddly, and Seungcheol merely acts as if nothing is wrong. "Let's walk home together, shall we?"
Nayeon groans, but she can't exactly refuse someone carrying all her stuff for her, even if the conversations are bound to be headache-inducing.
"I'm not that annoying, am I?" Seungcheol pouts, and she may or may not want to barf in . But Nayeon smiles instead, this time not bothering to shrug off the arm he's slung around her. They're next-door neighbors and they have been for as long as she could ever remember, so it feels like she's just stuck with him forever.
He nudges her in the rib cage. "You haven't answered my question."
She turns to look at him, amused by the puppy dog look in his eyes. "No, you're not that annoying," she finally gives in, to which he pumps his fist in the air in victory.
"Here's a lollipop. While you were in the bathroom earlier they gave out candy to us to celebrate the end of midterms," he says. "I saved one for you, of course." He unwraps it for her and sticks it into . "Your favorite flavor!"
She rolls her eyes, but can't help but chuckle. Annoying? No, not really. She would rather have him around than not, she thinks to herself.
