"Worry."

 

Joo Yeon’s P.O.V

 

“Heol, he’s just wow.” Mark shook his head.

“I told you, he’s crazy. He barged in my house last night. Gosh.” I said.

Mark chuckled.

“Yah, you’re the reason why I’m crazy.”

I gulped, turning around.

Jungkook pushed my forehead with his index finger.

“Uh, I’ll get going.” Mark nudged and I nodded.

“Leaving after bad mouthing me huh?” Jungkook rolled his eyes.

“I did not.” Mark chirped as he walked away.

“Why are you telling him everything?” He glared.

“Because I want to and why not? We’re close anyways.”

He frowned.

“How come you’re so close to him?”

“Jeon Jungkook, don’t get me started.” I tilted my head to the side, frowning at him.

“Okay okay.”

 

 

I moved back to my original seat, next to Jungkook’s.

“I thought I told you, we were friends since kindergarten.”

“No you didn’t.” He glared.

“Look now you’re bad mouthing me. We’re even.” Mark interrupted.

I turned my head and smiled.

“No I didn’t.” Jungkook denied.

I turned to the door as I heard it opening.

Kai walked in and froze when he saw me.

He had bruises on the edge of his lips and his eyes were swollen.

What happened to him?

I looked away.

“I don’t get you guys.” Park Hye Jung said as she passed by.

I looked at Jungkook and he was all smiley.

 

 

I followed Kai as he walked out of the class.

He stopped midway and turned around.

“What do you want?” He asked, he’s in a bad mood.

I looked around, there were no one. Good.

“What happened to you?” I asked back.

“Why do you want to know?” He chuckled.

I walked closer and took out a small bottle of ointment and small handy plasters strip.

I took his hand and put them on it.

I turned around and started walking.

“My father beat me up.” He suddenly said.

I turned around.

“What?”

He walked closer.

“My father did these.” He said.

 

Kai’s P.O.V

 

We ended up at the back of the school.

I can’t believe I’m telling her everything.

Is this even possible?

I grimaced as she put the ointment on my cut.

“Mian. Does it hurt?”

I managed to shake my head.

She sighed.

“I’m so sorry.” She said.

“Don’t. Don’t ever.” I frowned.

She saw my face and looked away.

“It must’ve been hard on you.”

I shrugged.

She put the handy plaster strip over my cut.

“Hang in there, Kim Kai.”

I chuckled.

“I won’t tell anybody.” She assured.

Joo Yeon’s P.O.V

 

I fixed my ponytail at the female toilet.

I sighed. I feel sorry for him again.

Who knew what was behind that big mansion huh..

Just then Park Yoon Mi walked out from one of the stall.

I put my hands down and crossed my arms.

She glared at me as soon as she saw my reflection.

I waited. I know she have something to say. She always does.

She walked closer and washed her hands.

Then she took out her lipstick, putting it on her lips.

“I heard it.” She said.

“Heard what?”

“That it was fake.” She chuckled.

I turned my body to her.

“So? Aren’t you going to apologize?” I asked.

“Hell no. You deserved it, Jung Joo Yeon.” She slipped the lipstick into her pocket.

And she faced me.

“What?” I frowned.

“It just made me more furious. Knowing you guys have no relation yet he still went to your house that night.”

“It’s not like-”

“Let me tell you something, it just proves more that you’re cheap.” She cuts me off.

My jaw dropped.

Great, now I’m furious.

I took a step forward, ready to bash her.

“Park Yoon Mi, watch your mouth. Wait a minute, aren’t you just jealous? After all these times you’ve been chasing him and yet he still chooses me?”

I felt so satisfied after seeing her face turned awful.

She pushed my forehead with her finger continuously.

I slapped her hand away.

“Ani, I know what I’m saying. I’m sick of this. Who do you think you are? Yah, fake or not, let me tell you something he loves me. Why do you think he’s trying so hard to protect me? Get over it. With this kind of attitude as yours, you don’t stand a chance.” I spit out my words.

She chuckled.

“Let’s see if that’s true. You’ll regret this.” She smiled and it made me cringe.

Then she walked out of the door.

I froze, realizing what I just said.

I don’t know what is happening when Park Yoon Mi suddenly came in, being angry at me.
