Her Twenty Five Regrets

Description

Byun Baekhyun comes across a peculiar dim-lighted store that was separated far from the Tokyo Ginza District markets.

Knocking curiously, he tries opening the door. Surprisingly, it was unlocked despite the sign that had said 'closed' at the front. As he enters, he sees broken glass sprawled across the floor and his careful and avoiding feet finally lead him to an unconsious yet familiar beauty lying down on the ground.

Hurriedly calling the ambulance, he later finds out she was Hana Akiyama, the Hana Akiyama -- world-renowned Japanese photographer.

Baekhyun starts to wonder if he can still ever attend tomorrow's event. Or if he can ever want to leave in the first place.

Foreword

"If you've ever lived with one regret each year that passed, would you continue on?"

Her stale eyes and half-closed eyelids exerting exhaustion hazily met mine, while all I could think about in this time of midnight was how I should be gone in the next few minutes, and how I could continue to understand her rigid Japanese accent in terms of speaking Hangul. But without knowing I've entered such a commitment, I engaged confidence and reassurance in my voice, and said

I would.

"...even if I had twenty five of them."
