It was a calm afternoon when suddenly Sungyeol came running towards the rooftop with a goofy smile on his face

“LEE SUNGYEOL, IF I CATCH YOU YOU’RE DEAD!!” apparently Sungyeol decided that it would be fun if he switched Woohyun’s lip balm for a glue stick

“YOU HAVE TO CATCH ME FIRST!!” teased Sungyeol as he ran for his life

 

“So you’re suppose to do it like this?” asked Sungjong as Hoya coached him on how to do the proper arm movement

“Bend your arms a little” Sungjong was obedient enough to follow his hyung.

The rest of the guys were practicing for an upcoming talent show in school where they decided to join. Everyone was busy doing something except for Sujin, who was staring at the clouds.

 

FLASHBACK

A little girl was playing all by herself on the swing when a big kid suddenly pushed her. The little girl started to cry.

 Meanwhile on the other side of the park, two kids decided to do a contest.

“Yah, Kim Myungsoo, you think I can’t beat you just because you’re a guy?” asked little Sujin towards little Myungsoo who seemed to be staring into space

“Hey, where you even listening to me?” Sujin shook Myungsoo but no avail. He seemed to be staring towards the swings where a girl was being bullied. In an instant, Myungsoo dashed towards the swings to save the girl.

“KIM MYUNGSOO!! WAIT FOR ME!” yelped Sujin as she ran after her friend.

 

The little girl continued to cry as the bully told her to go away since that swing belongs to him. The bully was about to pull the little girl’s ribbon when someone pushed him. The little girl was shocked to see the bully lying on the ground.

 

“Boys don’t hit girls! Didn’t your mom teach you that?” asked Myungsoo as held the bully by his collar

“Mind your own business!” the bully then punched Myungsoo in the face causing him to fall back

“Myungsoo!” Sujin was now boiling with anger when she saw her best friend on the ground

“You’re going to pay for that!” Sujin charged towards the boy who injured her friend and decided to stomp on his feet and scratch him on the face. The bully was now crying because of Sujin, who apparently, is tougher than she looks.

 

It seems Sujin intimidated the bully who was now running away from her “I’m going to tell my mommy!” he yelled. Sujin just stuck out her tongue as the bully ran away. On the other hand, Myungsoo was already comforting the little girl who bruised her knee.

 

“Are you alright?” asked Myungsoo gently as he brushed the girl’s hair on the side.

Sujin was looking at the two when an unknown emotion came rushing towards her

‘Why does it feel like that girl is stealing my best friend?’ thought Sujin as the little girl smiled towards Myungsoo

 

“I’m okay… what’s your name?” asked the little girl in her cute voice

“Myungsoo, you?”

“Soojung, are you my oppa?” asked the little girl as she tried to stand up

“Depends, how old are you?” Myungsoo then dusted the Soojung’s dress

“I’m 5 years old” said Soojung with a smile as she held out her five fingers which made Myungsoo chuckle

“I’m 7 years old, well then you can call me Myungsoo oppa” he then patted Soojung’s head while the little girl giggled.

“Is she alright?” asked Sujin as she decided to walk towards the little couple

“She’s fine” replied Myungsoo with a smile

‘I’ve never seen him smile like that before…’ Sujin was bewildered at her friend’s sudden warmness towards strangers

“And who are you?” asked the little girl towards Sujin

‘Is that how you treat your savior? Her tone is different when she’s talking to Myungsooit seemed more, nice?’ Sujin decided to let the little girl’s behavior slip “I’m Sujin and you?” asked Sujin who returned the same tone towards the little girl

“Soojung” tension can be felt towards the two so Myungsoo decided to break them up.

 

“Soojung ah, your unnie and I have to go. Do you know where your parents are?” asked Myungsoo as he held Soojung’s hand

“Jung Soojung!” yelled a slightly older girl that looks like Soojung

“Unnie, I’m over here!” yelled Soojung towards her older sister

 

“Yah, why did you go out by yourself? Mom and dad were looking for you!”

“Unnie, this oppa saved me from a bully” said Soojung proudly as she held hands with Myungsoo

‘Ahh, really? Thank you very much” said Soojung’s older sister

“Now, let’s get going! I have voice lessons to attend to” said Soojung’s older sister as she grabbed her little sister’s hand

“But Sooyeon unnie, I have to say goodbye to Myungsoo oppa first”

“Fine”

Soojung went towards Myungsoo and asked him to bend down. Myungsoo did as he was told but was shocked when Soojung planted a kiss on Myungsoo’s cheek

 

“Oppa, thank you for rescuing me” she then gave him a hug before running back towards her sister. As the sisters were walking away Sujin was growing impatient

 

“Kim Myungsoo, are you going to stand there all day? I’m leaving” sad an annoyed Sujin as she started to walk away but was stopped when Myungsoo placed an arm around her shoulder

 

“Yah, have you seen her Soojung’s sister? She’s so pretty! I want a girlfriend like that” Myungsoo had a goofy smile on which somehow annoyed Sujin even more

 

“Fine! Then go follow her…” spat Sujin as she took off Myungsoo’s arm around her.

“Hey, are you jealous?” asked an amused Myungsoo towards her best friend

“No! I’m just hungry…” Myungsoo couldn’t help but smile towards her best friend. He then caught her by the wrist “Yah, let me go! I want to eat…”

Myungsoo planted a kiss on Sujin’s head which gave her a shock

“Kim Sujin, always remember that I’ll always be yours and that I’ll protect you now matter what” said Myungsoo with a cheeky smile

“Yeah right, just a while ago you left me and helped that little brat” scoffed Sujin who was trying to hide her blushing cheeks. Myungsoo knows Sujin so well that he even knows how to make her jealousy go away. He hugged the girl then patted her head “ Aww, is my little baby angry” cooed Myungsoo as he teased Sujin some more

“Stop it! Just because you’re older than me by a few months doesn’t mean you can order me around” reotored Sujin as she lightly pushed Myungsoo

“Fine, I won’t treat you like a baby anymore, you practically beat that bully without my help, are you sure you’re a girl?” Myungsoo really knows how to push Sujin to the limit

“Whatever…” Sujin walked away as she tried to hide the smile that was forming on her lips

 

End of flashback

 

Sujin was smiling by herself when the boys noticed her acting all weird

“Yah, Kim Sujin!” Myungsoo then poked Sujin on the side so that he coud catch her attention

“What the… Kim Myungsoo!” she yelled while the boys just laughed at her friends giddiness

The door leading to the rooftop burst open revealing  Sungyeol and Woohyun.

 

“Aish, these two are giving me headache” Sunggyu was clutching the back of his head while Sunjong and Dongwoo try to stop Woohyun from hitting Sungyeol

 

“Yah, what were you smiling about?” asked Myungsoo as he sat beside Sujin who ignored the current situation happening beside her

“Just remembered something, that’s all” she replied with a smile

Sorry it took a while for me to update :P

I find it cute that Myungsoo/L has different sides.. he can be dorky and attractive at the same time ^^
