MR.BAKER ; IS HE THE ONE

"Let's go to that bakery! I decided to buy cake for Syira's birthday gift." Nini's eyes sparkled. She loves sweet food, luckily she took good care of her teeth. She pulled my arm, sending me a childish grin to signal that we need to go to the batery quick.

 

"Aigoo. Okay okay, let's go." I said boringly. We walked there-crossing the street before arriving at the bakery's entrance. I pushed the door, making the "kring" sound. Nini entered first, leading the way. The woman at the cashier smiled at us, I smiled back before swaying my legs nearing Nini.   "Doesn't this looks delicious?! This too! And this looks so pretty! I can't decide, help me Ji!" Nini pointed her finger to the cakes that looks beautiful in her eyes. One fact about her, she always look at the outside first before treasuring the inside. Then I saw her pouting, in a desperate way. I rolled my eyes, "Just pick, its not that hard."    "Hmm.. Can I buy all of these?" Nini puppy faced. I sighed, "I'm not paying for it then." "Haish.. okay. This chocolate one then.." Her voice flatened. "Only?" "Yes. You're paying okay!" Nini stuck her tongue out, and I rolled my eyes, again before glaring her.   I called one of the worker, with the name tag "Bora". She approached me by then. "May I help you, miss?" She bowed. "Pack this up please, also add 'Syira' under the 'happy birthday' sentence." I replied. "Anything else?" "That's only. Thank you." I smiled.    After packing the cake up, Bora left the cake on top of the counter. Nini was waiting outside, fiddling with a smart phone-maybe texting Syira. I waited for the cashier as she wasn't there with a thin line drawn on my face. Then, someone with a tall baker hat showed up infront of me. I startled, eyeing him from head to toes but surely I can't see his toes with the counter front of us. "Hi! Try these" He gave a pack of biscuits to me. I looked at him before awkwardly sticking my hand out to take the biscuits. "T-thank you?" I spat. "Your welcome. By the way, this cake cost $48.50. I'm gonna give you a discount as you're our first buyer today. Only $45." He showed his gum smile cheerfuly. "O-oh okay." I opened up my bag, searching for my purse. Unfortunately, it wasn't in there. Mentally panicking was all I can do.   "U-uh..I" "Yes Miss?" The baker asked politely. "Your purse Ji! You're so careless!" As on cue Nini suddely showed up slamming my purse to my elbow. "Ouch! I forgot! Thanks, Ni!" I made a kissy face just to see Nini raised one of her brows out. "Whatever." She left waiting outside again.   "So.." I heard the baker chuckled. I swear it was so cute and melodius! "A-ah yeah.. Here" I hand him $45 before giving him a smile. "Thank you. I'm Alex, the baker. How about you, Ji? You seems cool." I blushed hard hearing him pronouncing my name. "Ji Hyo name given. Nice to know you." We had a hand shake. "So, we're cool right? Here, if you need anything" He gave me his white-green coloured card. I also gave mine, after we exchanged numbers. "I'll get going! Bye Alex!" I bid goodbye and he replied it then I rushed out to Nini who was still standing like a statue-scanning something on the phone. I harshly took the phone, smashing it inside my jeans pocket.
