Turns out I had severe depression for years that I didn't even recongize until after it had consumed me whole and spit me back out. That's why I've struggled to get any writing out. Writing fanfic used to make me happy, it used to be an outlet for stress and a fun way to detach myself from reality for a little while. Then I lost all of that for an extremely long period of time. But now that I'm trying to get back into it, I find myself becoming easily overwhelmed as I try to make everything perfect. Pefect story line, perfect characters, perfect writing. A lot of fanfiction has all of that perfectness and more. But mine doesn't need to be. I just want to post (and repost) my ty fics and read all your comments and enjoy writing again.

For the longest period of time I was trying to turn this into a third person pov story because that's what I've grown to like and I know many readers prefer, too. And then I was trying to cut out  hefty chunks of the story and make the storyline something worthy of hollywood. Both of which are quite the task considering that I had already written 17 chapters of this plotless story and don't even have the energy to do all that I want to with this story. But I've decided that if I keep doing that, I'll never find myself writing eunhae fics again and just said it. I'm gonna post without stressing over this too much.

Donghae's POV

Sometimes love finds you in the most unexpected places. Like how that one girl on TV the other day found out she had feelings for her plumber, or how my best friend ended up marrying an all star boxer even though he hates the sport. I never thought I’d find love, but today I did, right within the halls of my own school.

“Oh my god, Kyu, she’s here!” I exclaimed in excitement, bouncing in place as I stared at the woman who was slowly making her way down the first floor. She was looking around as if she was inspecting every nook and cranny, but I was quick to stick my hand up to wave it about obnoxiously, dashing out of my office to meet her halfway. Kyuhyun sighed from beside me, but followed nonetheless as I ran up to her.

“Hello, welcome to Presidents High School. I’m Donghae, the school principal. It’s so nice to meet you,” I gushed, sticking my hand out for her to shake.

She looked taken back by my enthusiasm, but I hardly paid that any attention. She was my ticket to getting a space in the newspaper and that was good enough for me to pretend like I didn't notice her slight frown as she shook my hand before she pulled away not a second later.

“Nice to meet you. My name is Katy,” she replied sounding quite bored already.

Kyuhyun appeared beside me, sticking his hand out for a shake, too, though not even trying to hide his bad mood. He’d been complaining all morning about some stupid fight he and Changmin had before school, but I was going to deal with his marriage problems later. Right now Katy here was going to write a feature about my students and there was no doubt in my mind that this was going to be bigger than that stupid interview Hyukjae did last week about his stupid fundraiser to help restore the city's old recreation facility. Everyone who was anyone in the education world was just eating it up, and Hyukjae now had an ego that swole his head to ten times it's usual obnoxious size. Just the thought of his name had my blood boiling, but I pushed it down as I remembered that I was about to have one over him soon. 

Once news got around of my new renovations to the music department and additional funding to the arts, Hyukjae would be out of the limelight and I'd be the one cheesing for the city newspapers. 

“Would you like a tour of the school? We have a new wing that was built last summer and it’s very pretty. Maybe you could take a few pictures for the article before the students get out of class,” I offered, making a camera motion with my hands.

Katy looked reluctant, but sighed and nodded, making me smile widely.

“Great! It’s just this way,” I said, gesturing for her to follow me down the hall. But as soon as we started walking, I heard someone calling my name. A quick glance over my shoulder confirmed that it was Henry sprinting down the hall, shouting my name a few more times as if he hadn't been loud enough the first time.

“Henry!” I scolded, watching him come to a skidding halt in front of me. “How many times do I have to tell you not to run in the halls?”

“Sorry Mr. Lee, but Heechul said it’s important.”

I made a face at that. I don’t know why Heechul lets the students call him by his first name. He wasn't fooling anyone with his age. He was old and he should just accept it. I let out a sigh. I turned back to give Katy a smile before letting it fall as I gestured for Henry to go on.

“Someone’s on the phone waiting for you. Like I said, it’s important," he said, making the situation sound urgent.

I groaned into my hands, really having no patience for this.

“Ok, fine, fine. Henry, you take Ms. Katy to see the east wing. And if I’m not back by then, show her to the new auditorium.”

“Aye aye Sir!” He gave a salute, breaking out into a grin as he moved around me to get to Katy. “This way, ma’am.”

I sighed as I watched the two of them head down the hall, then turned with quick steps to head back to my oce. The faster I get this call over with, the faster I could get back to make sure Henry didn't chase the journalist away.
