Taekwoon sat on the couch, munching away on warm chex mix clicking through holiday specials and blizzard warnings on the television. “Hyuuung!” A voice whined from somewhere in the dorm. Sangyuk was dragging his feet on the floor, making overexaggerated pouty child noises. “Hyungie im cold and im hungry.” Taekwoon continued munching on his snack. Trying to ignore the giant undeniably adorable maknae scuttling around begging for attention.

 “Go make some cocoa or get a blanket.” Taekwoon replied, his words came out colder than he hoped. But he was honestly a bit cold too, causing discomfort. Sanghyuk left to go to the closet to grab a blanket.

Shouting voices and clamoring rang down the hall, getting closer and louder behind him. A pair of warm hands eased down on Taekwoon’s shoulders, calmly alerting him who was behind him. “Taekwoonie.. the four of us are- DAMMIT JAEHWAN I'LL BE THERE IN A SEC JUST GET IN THE VAN AND WAIT A MINUTE! -going to the store to get some food. Is there anything you or Sanghyukkie want us to get?” Hakyeon said to him, voice warm as ever.. minus the shouting.

 “Uhh.. Hakyeon-ah.. could you get some marshmallows and things for s’mores?” Hakyeon smiled cheerfully and ruffled his hair in approval, earning himself an annoyed scowl. Finally the dorm is quiet again. Sanghyuk came in the room wrapped in a big fluffy comforter waddling over to the couch where Taekwoon continued munching on his tasty snack, eyes focused on the tv screen in front of him. That is, until Sanghyuk stood between him and the screen.

 “Taekwoon hyungie, you told me to get a blanket and we’re both obviously cold… Let’s cuddle!” Sanghyuk chirped. Taekwoon only watched him as the maknae wriggled down next to him, tucking them under the feathery warm blanket.

“S-sanghyk-ah…” Taekwoon stuttered. He was flustered and at loss for words. Sanghyuk was satisfied. He had Taekwoon wrapped around his finger. A pleased smirk plastered his face as he leaned against Taekwoon’s warm, broad chest. Listening to his strong heart beating against his hear as he snakes his arms around his hyung’s waist, and closed his eyes. Taekwoon blushed furiously at the incredibly cute and smooth move. He wrapped his long arms around Sanghyuk’s shoulders, inhaling the sweet smell of his shampoo and placing a tiny kiss on the crown of his head. And they fell asleep just like that. Warm in eachother’s embrace.

A couple of hours later, the others returned from the store in a loud mess of laughter and shouting. Jaehwan and Hongbin arguing over who could make the best s’more. Wonsik was the first to notice Taekwoon and Sanghyuk snuggling on the couch. He walked over and began to tease them. “Oohhhh Taekwoon hyung has a soft spot for our Hyukkie oooh aigoo how cute.” Taekwoon was awoken by the racket, a sleepy, grouchy leer on his face pointed at the loud dongsaengs, then met Hakyeon’s gaze in a silent plea for help, as to not wake the peaceful boy dozed off on him. Hakyeon quickly out the groceries away and, using colorful language, shushed the three noisemakers and ushered them out of the room. Taekwoon spoke an almost inaudible “Thank you.” to Hakyeon who smiled and winked as he exited the room. And Taekwoon fell back asleep with Sanghyuk still right there. Deep in sleep. So peaceful.
