Mark was having a good dream, when he felt like something was wrong. Opening his eyes, he saw his balcony open and the wind blowing on his white curtains. “Is someone here” he asks, when he didn’t hear anything he scaredly walk to the balcony and look outside. He didn’t see anything unusual, he was about to walk inside when he saw something jump in the bushes. Scared, he quickly ran inside and close the door, he was going to close the curtains as well, when he was surrounded by a mystic fog. The fog was calling his name, while circling around him, “ h-how do you know my name” he said

“I’ve been watching you, mark” he said, his deep voice scares the crap out of him, but he tried not to show it. He slowly walk to his desk, while staring at the fog, which now took a form as a gorilla. “ w-w-what do you want from me” , the gorilla laughs before walking towards him, mark scared quickly ran to his desk to make a call. When his friend picks up, he was about to tell him that someone was in his room, when the phone was knocked out of his hand, earning a scream from him.

“YOU WILL NOT CALL ANYONE” he said loudly, mark ran under the desk and hide, he didn’t know why there was a gorilla in his room, but he wants it gone. The gorilla lift the desk and was about to throw it to the side, when mark friend burst into the room. Before he could put the light on, the gorilla disappeared in thin air, “MARK!’ his friend said while running to him “are you ok...what happened here”

Mark hug his friend out of fear, and cried. He cried until he was calm down, “ Eric, there was a gorilla in here, he wanted to hurt me” he said still in shock, Eric look at mark “ is this true mark?” he said not believing him at first, but when mark nod his head and look at him, he could see the honesty in his eyes. Quickly he grab his friend and took him to his room, than he told him to sleep here for the night, which he complied. “If what you said is true, than we are leaving here tomorrow, we don’t know if that crazy gorilla is out their again waiting to attack again” he said

The gorilla that attacked mark quickly back away from the water, he was angry and pissed that he couldn’t get his blood. Walking to the entrance of the cave, he watch the hotel from afar. “I will personally drain your blood, tuan, mark my word, while he was making promises, someone entered the cave, “I see your still making evil plans, my delusional cousin”

‘ what do you want amber” he said not turning to acknowledge her, “ talk about anger management” she said, “ I’m not in the mood, for your sarcasm today”, amber in her human form walk towards him “what’s wrong with you today” she asks him, but he gave her the silent treatment. “ ok fine, be that way, I just came up here to tell you, that my brother miss you, you haven’t been hanging with him and your dad is worried” she said angering him, “ don’t talk to me about that worthless guy, he rather be a slave than a king”, amber shook her head, “ you seriously need to let this go henry, uncle is happy being next to his brother, maybe you should be as well”

“NO! I WILL NEVER BE HAPPY WITH THIS LIFE, HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE KING OF THIS JUNGLE, NOT YOUR FATHER” he screamed, throwing stuff on the wall, he soon calm down when he saw his girlfriend dasom and his friend zhoumi appeared. “ why don’t you go back to those ugly beings you call friends and leave me alone” he said making amber mad, “ I will just leave, because I don’t know what wrong with you today” she said before jumping out of the cave without saying a word to dasom and zhoumi.

“What’s going on here henry, why amber upset… and how come this place is a mess” she asks

“I’m not in the mood so just drop it” he said before going back to whatever he was doing.

“Are you still trying to get that human boy” his friend asked, making his girlfriend turn to him, “what human boy?” henry glares at his friend before sighing.

The next day, mark and his friend reported the incidents to the owner, she bites her lip and cursed her cousin for ruining her hotel, than she told them that she will look into it. “Thank you mam, but for my friends safety we will be leaving now” Eric said,  “ come on Eric, you don’t have to leave so soon, what if I give you the upper suit, that has lots of guard” she said

“I’m sorry amber, but my friend is to scared, besides we already inform his parents about him coming back, and their expecting him” he replied, amber sighs before sadly let them go, while they leave, he couldn’t help but stare at the prince, who was looking at him funnily. As soon as they left the hotel, they got in the car and drove. While driving, they could see a fog, the fog was starting to get to deep, preventing them from seeing anything. “ what’s going on here” Eric said, turning to mark, he was surprise to see mark shaking, and his arms wrapped around himself, “ not again” he said confusing Eric

“Again? Do you know what’s going on mar-“, he didn’t get to finish his sentence when he saw someone or something snatch mark from the car. “Mark!” he screamed, stopping his car to get out.  He search everywhere for his friend, and when he couldn’t find him he tried calling his other friends.

Mark was flung to a tree, making him scream out in pain. He tried to get up, but his wrist was broken. “ you thought you could leave this island” the voice said, “ but your wrong, I will never let you leave, especially when I need your blood” , mark look at the gorilla while holding on to his wrist, “ why….why won’t you leave me alone” he cried

“ why you say, do I have to spell it for you humans, I want your blood” he said, when he saw the confusion on his face he growls, “ listen human because this will be the last time I will say this”

“I found out that your blood is rare, it’s the cure for our generations. We apes have been cursed to be immortals, but being immortals came with a price. And the price was we couldn’t conceive. I found out with your blood mixed with ours, we would be able to conceive a child and also create a different type of beings, that’s way powerful than all of us. That’s why with your blood, I will become the most powerful ape in the jungle. People will worship me, and I will become better than a king….a god” he said

Mark was surprise at this revelation, especially with his blood being a cure for these apes. He didn’t think he was anything special, but seeing how desperate this gorilla was, made him think otherwise. Why did I agree to go on this trip, he thought, I would rather stay home or attend boring meetings than being killed by a monster “Now that you know my dilemma, it’s time for you to die” he said coming closer to mark to cut his throat out.

Mark not knowing what to do scream as loud as possible, hoping someone would hear him.

Meanwhile

Jackson, was bathing with his friends, when he smelt it, the sweet sent from before. “Do you guys smell that” he said in their animalistic language, “smell what?” jb said while washing his back “ you guys seriously don’t smell it”, he said turning to them, they shook their head and continued what they were doing. “Whatever it is, we can’t smell it, so just ignore it Jackson” bam said, but Jackson ignore them, he sniff the air, and followed the scent. Bam seeing him leave, shout his name, but Jackson just continued walking. JB sighs, “just leave him bam, you know he won’t listen to anyone”, bam bit his pouty lips, he couldn’t help but worried, “something bad is going to happen jb, I just feel it” Jb listen to bam, he knew bam was never wrong, “ maybe we should follow him, just in case” he said, which bam agreed

Jackson transform back to his human form and ran, making turns and jumping on trees. He could smell it, the sweet scent getting closer. He didn’t know if he should be excited, or intrigue, that something as wonderful was here on the island. He continued to make turns until the smell was overbearing. Looking around, he search for whoever was giving of that smell, until he looks down. Their below him, was a young pale man, he was crouched by the tree, holding his wrist. Jackson could smell fear reeking from him, which was covering his sweet scent.

Following the man’s direction, he could see his cousin walking towards the man, this made him frown. Sniffing him could smell the evilness reeking from his body, and the killing instinct towards the boy, for some reason Jackson was upset. His body was on fire, and he didn’t know why, but he knew he had to stop his cousin from killing the boy. He was busy thinking of a way to stop his cousin, when he heard the man scream. Hearing the man scream brought the animalistic side of him out, it all felt like slow motion to him. One minute he was in his human form, the next he was a wild ape.

As soon as his cousin was close by, he jumped down, his feet hitting the hard ground, and creating a large crack. He stood in front of the boy protectively and growl at his cousin.

Both parties were surprise to see him, especially mark. He was surprised to see another gorilla/ape with a beautiful fur, standing in front of him. He could tell this animal was different and was hoping he was on his side instead of the other gorilla.

“This is none of your business, Jackson” he growl, making Jackson growl in their language “this is my business, henry” he said before adding “I won’t let you harm this human”, hearing this henry became angry, “ you don’t even know this human, why defend him” he growl harshly , “ It doesn’t matter, you know it’s against the rules to harm a human” he said before turning to mark, “ especially someone as innocent as he is” henry smirk before looking at mark, “ you my dear cousin, are a fool” Jackson didn’t know what he meant by that, but he didn’t have time to block his cousins attack.
