Appa Killed Mama
Before the boys leave the house, to carry out their plan to sabotage their appa's current marriage, they pay one last visit to Mama's Wall of Favorites. They take pleasure in staring at her wall, but... it is more out of habit than anything else.
So... did the ranks change while they locked themselves up in their appa's old study room to plan?
Yes... it sure did, and the change is a real shocker. Like, seriously... to see the last place, Risk (who is always last place), not be last anymore? Oh god... what happened? Is the Earth turning on its other axis? Uh, what other axis?
"Aly... what the hell did you do? How did you manage to move down three ranks in one morning?"
"Hyung, I think the better question here to ask him is... how the hell did he manage to steal last place from Risk?" The other brothers nod in agreement... including Risk. He is not pleased at having his last place stolen. No, not at all. He enjoys being least favorite... because that is the only way he will be noticed by mama. Yeah, by being MOST hateful. The keyword here is most.
The eleven brothers turn to Aly for an answer to their question. They want to know what he did... so they can avoid it (at all cost) in the future. Oh, except for Risk. Risk is just curious. "Well? What the hell did you do to mama?"
"I don't know."
"What do you mean you don't know? Are you intentionally avoiding the question so we'll suffer the same fate as you? Try to think... did you say anything to her this morning that might have caused her to demote you?"
"Hmm... I think... I did mention something about the bear she is always with."
"Aly... have you not learned anything from Huebanky's mistakes? You do not ask mama about the bear, period."
"He must've said something really out of line. Even though Banky is always mentioning the giant bear, he is never sent to the far right on Mama's Wall of Favorites."
"That's true..." The eleven brothers turn back to Aly for further elaboration (on what he said to mama).
"What?"
"What do you mean 'what?' What exactly did you say to her?!"
"Oh, while we were all leaving for appa's study room, I made a little stop and asked her what she does with the bear in the bedroom."
"That is not cute, Aly. You are not being cute."
"Are you out of your mind? You don't just ask her what she does with the giant bear. And, what? The bedroom? Come on! It's common sense!"
"Who cares what she does with the bear... as long as it makes her happy."
"Huebanky and Aly obviously cares."
"Why is she so sensitive about the bear? I don't get it."
"She's sensitive because she's a woman. It's pre-written in their genes."
"I don't think sensitivity is hereditary."
"I agree. Our dead mama wasn't at all sensitive. Remember that story Uncle PSY told us?"
"Which one? He tells us a lot of stories. Mostly about his many girlfriends and how they dump him. Oops. Did I say that wrong? I mean how he dumps them."
The boys laugh.
"You have to be more specific."
"I'm talking about the story of how O.D. got his name."
Tumbleweed moment. "..." They are all still pretty clueless... including O.D. himself. Wait... how does he forget his namesake? No clue.
"Did mama... O.D. on the 'you know what?'"
"That makes sense. It would explain his eyes."
"What is wrong with my eyes?!"
"Nothing."
"No! Not that kind of O.D."
"You'll have to do some explaining, hyung."
"She almost popped out O.D. in the middle of the road. Luckily, she put the horse-drawn carriage in overdrive and arrived at the midwives' headquarters on time."
"Ohhh, riiight. She even beat out those traffic authorities who were trying to pull her over."
"They never did manage to give her a ticket for putting the horses in overdrive."
"Nope."
"Wait... how does this story have anything to do with her insensitivity?"
... No clue.
