“For someone so smart, he sure is ing stupid,” Chanyeol told Kyungsoo over the phone.

    “Maybe you haven’t made it as obvious as you think you have.”

    “I don’t want to be too obvious, but I thought he would catch on.”

    “You can’t assume anything.”

    “I know he has some feelings for me.”

    “How’s that?”

    “I can just feel it, you know?”

    “Not really.”

    “Work with me, Kyungsoo!”

    “I’m sorry, but why don’t you just confess?”

    “I’m working on it.”

    “So you have a plan?”

    “Kind of. You know that project we have in Mr. Kim’s? Well my scenario was someone confessing so I thought I would use that moment to truly confess.”

    “Will it work?”

    “I hope so.” There was a knock on his door. “I have to go...Come in.”

    “Look who doesn’t have a cast anymore!” Baekhyun exclaimed cheerfully.

    “Good as new?”

    “Better actually.”

    There was silence and not the kind they had grown accustomed to.

    “Baek,” Chanyeol spoke first, “are you leaving now?”

    “Oh, I guess I probably should. I mean I’m healed and there’s a perfectly nice house waiting for me.” He didn’t really think about leaving. Was this why Chanyeol was upset the other day? Couldn’t be, right?

    “Right…”

    “We have to present our project tomorrow. Are you nervous?”

    “Not really.” That was a straight up lie. “You?”

    “A little, but I just don’t like speaking in front of people.”

        “It’ll be fine. Just pretend it’s you and me.” He really wished that it would only be the two of them up there.
