It depends, I guess.
Yeah. On who you’re talking to.
If it’s a friend, family member, or the pizza delivery hotline or something, there’s no really need to.
But if it’s like a job interview on the phone—
Oh god.
Terrifying, isn’t it.
And you’d rehearse all kinds of possible answers to all sorts of possible questions.
But you end up getting none of the questions you expected.
And you end up stammering and losing that confident tone you’ve been practicing all night long.
Then they never call you back.
They never ever call you back.
It's sad.
More like, traumatizing.
Just as traumatizing as getting dumped on the phone. Now that’s another situation where you’d have to rehearse what you say. I mean, if you're the one who dumps someone else through the phone, that is.
