When Jongin told Kyungsoo he wanted to celebrate their anniversary in a special place, the police station was the last thing that crossed his mind

To give Kyungsoo some credit the older had tried to take him out to a nice restaurant, it was just such a shame they had gotten thrown out in the middle of dinner, now instead of devouring the mouthwatering three cheese lasagna he had ordered, jongin was stuck in a smelly police station trying to avoid the cold prison cell that he was sure kyungsoo would manage to get them in by the end of the night

“Do Kyungsoo” said the officer in charge of getting their statement while kyungsoo glared across the room at another officer that was pressing a bag of ice to his eye

“23 years old, fifth violence offence in your name” continued the officer in a robotic voice

“Yeah, tell me something I don’t know” said kyungsoo with scowl in his face

“Would you like to tell me what happened in the restaurant and the reason you assaulted Officer Park over there?”

“I punched him because he is a ing ” said kyungsoo attempting to stand up and go to where ‘Officer Park’ was seated

“Stop that” hissed jongin while offering the man at the desk the fakest smile he could muster and grabbing kyungsoo’s hand

“Then what exactly did he do to make you get that impression of him?” said the officer really slowly as if he was talking to a kid

“He flirted with my boyfriend” said kyungsoo while biting his lip, just thinking about the way that was looking at jongin made his blood boil

“What?” said the officer who for the first time in the entire night showed some king of emotion, he looked between the two of them eyes focusing in their clasped hands

“I said he ing flirted with my boyfriend”

“I wouldn’t call it flirting it was more like giving a nice compliment to a friend” Jongin felt kyungsoo tense and looked up to see officer park seating himself beside the ‘friendly’ officer and right in front of them

“He is not your friend ” said kyungsoo seating upright and resuming his glaring at both officers

Kyungsoo could not help but smirk when he saw the bruise that was already forming around officer park’s ugly eye, he packed a pretty mean right hook if he said so himself

“Excuse me” said jongin with a small voice, blushing when all the eyes focused on him

“Once we give our statement are we free to go home?” continued the younger trying to avoid looking at Officer Park who was smiling at him

“That depends on the victim” said friendly officer

“If Chanyeol presses charges then kyungsoo has to spend a night with us”

“Who the is Chanyeol?” said kyungsoo while looking around

“That would be me “said Officer Park while offering kyungsoo a handshake

Kyungsoo stared at his hand with hatred and gave him the middle finger, jongin could only sight he was looking forward to his night with kyungsoo just a few hours ago

“Ah…don’t worry” said Chanyeol, his body was facing kyungsoo but his eyes were plated on jongin

“You don’t have to spend the night here kyungsoo tough I wouldn’t mind spending it with cute jonginnie over there”

Jongin did not even have time to blink before kyungsoo was up and pulling Officer Chanyeol in a chokehold

Needless to say at the end of the night Chanyeol had two black eyes and a bruising neck and kyungsoo was to spend the night at the police station, of course jongin was going to stay with him

“Some anniversary huh?” said kyungsoo while climbing in jongin’s lap, the younger was currently seated in the prison cell’s floor

“Yeah”

“You are not mad are you?” asked kyungsoo looking up at jongin and making the best puppy eyes he could muster

“Nope” said jongin “Punching an officer in order to defend my honor is a reasonable measure in my book”

“Of course you are not mad it’s your fault anyways”

“How is it my fault? I did not assault an officer” pouted jongin

“If you were not so handsome” said kyungsoo while crossing his arms

“I don’t have any control over that” chuckled jongin while nuzzling his nose in kyungsoo’s neck “anyways how long are we going to stay here again?”

“That tard over there said twenty-four hours as long as I don’t do something stupid”

“Something stupid like?”

“Like stab that ugly ing Chanyeol that keeps looking at you” kyungsoo shouted

Jongin could only sigh, some anniversary indeed
