Description
Athena isn't your average girl. Strange name, unusual aura of confidence, unknown background- she stands out from all the other kids at school. The only thing that makes her different from the other students is that she's a spy. Ever since she was young, she has been trained under SSFGC - the Secret Society for Gifted Children. "Gifted" meaning gifted fighting wise, not academic wise. The SSFGC has been training children like Athena for 30 years. She has a Korean name, Lee Mi-Young, but she doesn't use it due to situations from her past. Her friend, Park Min Ki, helps her get through he trainings and even helps her during her assigned mission. When Athena is assigned to protect Jung Chanwoo, she is expecting it to be a completely easy mission that requires zero effort, but the more she understands the truth behind her mission, the more difficult the mission becomes, as she experiences pain, adventure, and love. Will she make it out alive, unharmed? Will anyone make it out alive? Or will they be dragged into a bottomless abyss of pain and war?

Athena/Lee Mi Young (16)
She's cute, sweet, and nice, but she can also be fierce, badass, and mean. When she first entered SSFGC, she was a frail, helpless child. Now, she's tougher than meat, but her heart melts when she meets boys that are up to her standards. Her first impression of Chanwoo isn't the best, but the more she follows him, the more she realizes that there's more behind the mask that he puts on.
Jung Chanwoo (17)
Cocky and arrogant, he's the bad boy that melts all the girls' hearts melt with one sweet smile. He is currently training under YG Entertainment and is set to debut in YG's upcoming boy group, iKON. But is YG aware of the family that he's hiding? Putting on a cold front to prevent others from getting hurt, he eventually tears down the walls he built after meeting Athena.
Seo Young Joo (17)
Possessing good features, Seo Young Joo is one of Chanwoo's friends at Youngkwang High School. He is a warm-hearted, kind guy that has a weak heart for girls like Athena. He is well-known for failing in getting a girlfriend on multiple occassions despite his good looks. He is a longtime friend of Chanwoo as they are both child actors, and he is aware of the secret that Chanwoo is keeping from everyone.
Park Hyun Ki (17)
A computer genius, Hyun Ki has been longtime friends with Athena. He befriended Athena when she first entered the SSFGC. Known for being a prankster, his light-heartedness can make Athena laugh when she's feeling down. He has a brotherly image towards Athena and is very protective of her. He is known for being a fanboy of every K-Pop girl group in South Korea. He, too, has a dark past that he keeps to himself because he does not want others to look down on him.

Baek Ji Hye (17)
Athena's best friend. She's known for catching all the boys' eyes for her beauty, and has had several boyfriends throughout the school year. She's also a part of the SSFGC, but has not been assigned a mission yet.
Kim Tae Ho (17)
Young Joo and Chan Woo's close friend. He's widely known for his playful personality and his lighthearted disposition. He's very similar to Hyun Ki, except for the fact that Tae Ho's father is the owner of SKBC, aka South Korean Broadcasting Center, and his mother is a well-known psychologist. Although he does not spend a lot of time with his family, he is a very family-centered person.
