It was sunny with a hint of wind, the beginning of Spring. Cherry blossoms were blooming and everything looked brighter and clearer. You were swaying black and forth on a kids swing set while Jungkook, your childhood friend and boyfriend leaned on the pole of the set, arms crossed and eyes closed. You and Jungkook met through your parents. You had moved into a new house and your parents forced you to befriend the neighbour's child, Jeon Jungkook. Before you knew it, you were crying over a cut and Jungkook was crying because he was freaking out. Once both of you were of age to go to school, you enrolled in the same elementary, junior, and high school.

You stared at the sleepy Jungkook, smiling to yourself. 

  "Hey." he mumbled.

You hummed in response.

  "Let's go to the beach."

Agreeing, you jumped off of the swing and took hold of his hand.

The sun was fading as you arrived at the beach. The sky was transforming into a coral colour. All you could hear was the sound of waves and your feet sinking in the sand as you and Jungkook walked along the shore, holding hands.

  "Ah.. Today was perfect." you said, stretching.

  "Not as perfect as you." Jungkook replied, smilling.

  "You're so cheesy..." you said, smacking his arm.

Jungkook pulled you into a short and soft kiss. His perfect eyes sparkled as the sun set. His hair flopped perfectly over his forehead.

He's perfect.
