Can I be your hero?

“I can be your hero, I will kiss your pain away and I will always be with you through anything and everything.” He kissed my forehead and held me tightly to his body as we sat out on the bench by a street light pole in the cold mid-November raining night, with nothing but maybe only a few hundred won and a duffle bag with our clothes, which is now all soaked and wet from the pouring rain. Crying as he held me tightly trying to share body heat but keeps on failing as the rain just starts to pour harder and harder by the each minute that passes by until he stands up and takes my hand, pulling me up to stand on my feet and takes our bag and slowing pulls me into his arms as we make our way into the streets to look for a dry place to sleep for the night just until the sun rises, then we will try to put everything back to the way it was before, even if it takes us years.
