Description

Kyungsoo doesn't really know how it ended up like this.

Baekhyun, his classmate in literature class, introduced him to Chanyeol, who used to live on the same street as him.

Chanyeol brought Lay, who was in his composition class.

Lay is close with Tao and Luhan, two other Chinese students. Tao and Luhan are both in the basketball team.

Luhan works part-time at the local cafe with Kris, who works there full time after his father disowned him.

Kris sometimes extends grocery shopping trips to come watch Tao practicing with the male ballet troupe.

Jongdae often films the odds and ends on campus, like the ballet troupe, for his student film.

Which means he also talks to prodigies like Jongin and Sehun who are younger than the rest of their cohort, and Suho who's having his third go at the med-entry exam.

Minseok, who was in Suho's class in their first year, was Jongin and Sehun's mentor in his second year.

So when the twelve of them meet up like this (which isn't often because people have parties or labs or couch burning to get to) Kyungsoo wonders amongst the chatty debates on Hamlet and Huntington's disease, how he became acquainted to these guys. How quaint indeed.

Eversince he was eleven years old, Kyungsoo wanted to be a writer. There was a time when he was going to listen to his parents' realist talk, before he read too many books and watched too many movies and became too inspired to give up his dream. He believed there was meaning, and he believed in all sorts of crazy and embarassing things. Like love, for example.

How very quaint indeed.
