“How much do you know?” A large figure towered over her.

            Lights. Bright lights.

            “I don’t know anything, please just let me go!” she cried, covering her eyes from the blinding intensity of the lights.

            “She’s practically useless.” She felt a strong impact on her leg and soon enough they were everywhere; on her stomach, on her back, even on her head. A deafening sound played in her ears. A baseball bat made contact with her, making her face to the left side. Save me, oh Lord.

            As if her prayers were heard instantly, she sees a small window just above the stacked boxes in the corner. She tried to move but, her limbs were in so much pain that even the slightest effort would likely be the death of her. “She’s practically dead.” A deep voice echoed in the room.    The lights were immediately turned off and she hears the locking of the doors.

            All alone, lying on the cold floor, she thought it was the end. She was never afraid of death, the only thing that worried her back then was how she was going to die. I guess this is it. She closed her eyes as tears slipped from her eyes, mixing with the blood covering her face. Memories flashed in her mind. Her family and her friends. Her boyfriend.

            I can’t leave them.

            She tried to gain back all her strength and tried to stand up. She felt as if the world was on her shoulders, her legs hurt like hell and so were the rest of her body. The room seemed to spin before her eyes.

            One step, two steps, three steps.

            She fell down, but she tried to stand up again. My loved ones await me.

            Her legs made their way up to the boxes, her dear life holding onto the edge of the small window. She wanted to give up, her whole body felt like collapsing anytime soon. But, she can’t back down, now that she’s on her way to saving her own life. Her petite body went through the window, falling down to the grass. The fall made her condition worse. She groaned inwardly, trying to keep it down before anyone hears her.

            Since she can’t lift up her own framework anymore, she decided to escape the cruel premises by crawling her way out. It seemed impossible but with her determination, she was able to keep herself hidden away.

            But, as the distance grows further, her pain goes stronger. this , I’m dying.

            “At least if I die, I’m not under the hands of those ugly faggots.”

            She closes her eyes, caressing the damp grass with her bloody fingers.
