Espresso

Espresso

Probably not so many people knew that Seunghoon was actually the weakest among Winner members. Not literally “weak”, but he was never with high immunity, as it seemed like and as he was told. Despite the cool and controlled exterior, Seunghoon was actually easy to get sick. And it was the nth times Seunghoon got sick again after long months of busy schedules; fan meetings, dance practices, interviews, photo sessions, and comeback preparations.

Seunghoon was instructed to skip schedule, to recover, and that left Jinwoo thinking what he could do to make Seunghoon recover quickly. It was never easy to take care of Seunghoon when he was sick. Seunghoon was the type of person who did not like to be taken care of, especially when he was sick. He did not like it when he looked weak. He usually locked himself in his room, ignoring s and managers.

But it did not apply to Jinwoo. Ever since they were officially dating, Jinwoo was the only one who had his permission to take care of him. Despite his dignity to look like a tough gentleman in front of Jinwoo, Seunghoon did not want to make Jinwoo worried too much. So he let him to see him and take care of him. And of course this time too.

The four members finally got back to the dorm after a long practice day, and Jinwoo could not hold himself any longer to rush to Seunghoon’s room.

“You okay?” Jinwoo asked gently, carefully pushing down the blanket that covered Seunghoon’s lips, to hear him speak. “I got you your favorite drink.” Jinwoo lifted up a cup of warm espresso and put it on the side table.

“How was the practice?” Seunghoon groaned with a dry throat, turning his back on the looming Jinwoo above him and coughing after. “You might get sick. Don’t come too close.”

Jinwoo chuckled. “Are you worrying about my immune system? I’m the Imjado Warrior, don’t underestimate me.” He said, and that made Seunghoon smiled. “I’ll cook something for you, okay? I’ll be done in a few.”

“I’m fine. Don’t worry about me.” Seunghoon’s tone raised an octave – a persuasion tone that Jinwoo wasn’t buying. He instead laid a hand on the warm hair and petted softly.

“Patients are not allowed to order their nurses. I’m coming right back.”

Jinwoo wore his signature blue apron and began preparing. It was good that he was doing the easiest but tastiest soup he read online – with a help from Taehyun. This would definitely soothe an ailing and grumpy Seunghoon.

“I’m baaack~” Jinwoo said in an incoherent note.

“Jinwoo, I swear—“

“No-no, don’t complain too much. This would be good for you.” Jinwoo made to sit firmly on the bed, bowl on his lap and other stuff on the bed side table. He showed no signs of backing down. “You won’t disappoint me by denying my cook right…?” He faked a pout.

“Urgggh. Fine.” Seunghoon groaned. Sometimes, he regret for having a boyfriend who could do aegyo too well like Jinwoo. He always fell for it. The blankets moved and stirred, and then a messy bed-hair popped up.

Jinwoo beamed and watched Seunghoon sitting up, only to reveal wearing a thin gray tank top instead of a warm, thick clothing. The plate transition was slow but careful as Seunghoon took the food to his lap and began swallowing little sip.

“It tastes good, right?”

“Can’t taste anything.” Seunghoon wheezed a little, but still eating. He pouted a little and took a glance at the cup of espresso Jinwoo brought him before on the table. He handed over the now empty bowl to Jinwoo and took the espresso.

Jinwoo took the now empty bowl, ready to leave, for Seunghoon to rest, when Seunghoon reached for his wrist. “C’mere.”

“What? I have to clean the kitchen.”

Seunghoon shook his head slowly. “Nah, it can wait. Come, sit here.” He patted the side of the bed where Jinwoo previously sat down.

Jinwoo placed the empty bowl on the side table, sat down back, and looked at Seunghoon with a curious look. “Okay, now what?”

“Here,” Seunghoon pushed the cup of espresso to Jinwoo’s hand. “Drink this for me.”

Jinwoo frowned. “Yah! I bought it for you, not for me.” He sulked.

“Come on, drink it. For me.” Seunghoon insisted.

Jinwoo rolled his eyes. He sighed and took the espresso. “Okay, grumpy lion.” He jugged down the sweet drink. It tasted what it did and it was years since he last had one. He was never an espresso man. He did not drink coffee and chose milk instead.

The next thing Seunghoon did was never in Jinwoo’s expectation. No one would expect such an act at all. He couldn’t stop it either, not because Seunghoon was strong enough to hold him but it felt too good to resist and deny it anyway. The lips that pressed against his, probing mouth and liquid slipping to another mouth made kissing a new entire spin. Seunghoon was drinking from him. And it was the iest thing he’d ever done with anyone. The exploring silk tongue and a supporting hand at the back of his head had him giving in and kissing even deeper, bolder, and sensual.

The need for air made them pull apart, panting and much for Jinwoo’s surprise, a trail of espresso was at one corner of his mouth. And Seunghoon leaned forward to it away, hearing Jinwoo gasp.

“It was fun, right?” Seunghoon said, “One more time, please?”

Jinwoo did not complain too much this time. He quickly drank the espresso, making sure that he already had so much inside his mouth, and moved the cup away to give a better access for Seunghoon to crush their lips together again. Seunghoon drank from him once again. Kissing, lapping and taking in as much as he could, include the groans and whimpers that sounded in pleasure. He felt the hand on his chest, sensing Jinwoo’s sudden inability to stay upright until both of them fell back on bed.

When there was any liquid left inside their mouths, Seunghoon pulled them apart. They both were panting hard, huffing breathing and swollen lips.

“I love espresso, especially if I drink it from you.” Seunghoon whispered as he gently Jinwoo’s cheek. “Thank you.”

Jinwoo giggled. They stayed in their position for a while until Seunghoon yawned.

“Go to sleep. You surely need more rest.” Jinwoo said as he got up from Seunghoon’s bed.

Seunghoon chuckled, nuzzling back to his blanket and pillow. “I will sleep now.” He felt so light, really. The kiss made him feel so much better. Jinwoo made him feel so much better.

“Good. Sleep tight, okay? I’ll wake you for dinner later.” Jinwoo said and walked towards the door.

Seunghoon did not answer anymore, he fell asleep already. And Jinwoo smiled at how fast Seunghoon could fall asleep. He walked out from the room and closed the door very calmly to not cause any sound that could bother Seunghoon’s sleep.

Jinwoo could not stop giggling that night, thinking about the espresso kiss.
