Luhan was always the kind of a wolf that despised the thought of having a mate.

He just never understood why anyone would willingly go through the pain a mate can put on you. Physical and psychological.

His thoughts could have something with his own mother dying after quite a bad beating from his father. Or it might have been all the omegas surrounding him that were smiling to their mates even when covered in blood and bruises. It was something that most definitely made the boy sick to his stomach.

How can someone smile like that after it all? How can anyone accept that kind of a life?

Either way it's safe to say that when Luhan hit the age of seventeen and his scent matured completely, marking the boy as an omega, he ran.

Not even knowing where he was going but knowing that he needs to get as far away from his pack as possible. As far away from any pack, any wolf.

Because if there is one thing he is sure he will never want that is a mate.
