Description

With a small fire in the YG building, iKON is effectively moved out into the Seoul Institute of Classical Music. A new world of joy, pain, music and love opens up to our seven boys.

Foreword

In January 2015, there was a small accident inside the YG building.

A sweater was left too close to a heater and a small fire occured in the basement where seven boys sweated, bled and cried for their dreams.

Thankfully, all studios and practice rooms were empty at that time and no one was injured. As the fire reached ground level, firemen battled it until it died and the YG building stood on shaky, charred foundations.

Yanh Hyun-Suk only owned one more block in Seoul containing studios and practice rooms and with BIGBANG having the biggest priority with their upcoming comeback, they snagged most of the workspace.

2NE1, Epik High and Psy were next as sunbaes, as well as Lee Hi, AKMU and WINNER, all working on their own albums. There was no room for iKON.

As a result, their debut was pushed back and Yang Hyun-Suk went searching for an old friend. After a couple of days, he received an email reply:

'We would be honoured to take the boys in for a few months. We have plenty of room. I hope that they will enjoy their time at the Seoul Institute of Classical Music.'

Little did the boys know that apart from a whole new world of music, they were also bound for pain, laughter, adventure and love.
