EXO

Exo is a Chinese-South Korean boy band based in Seoul. Formed by SM Entertainment in 2011, the group consists of twelve members separated into two subgroups, EXO-K and EXO-M, performing music in Korean and Mandarin, respectively. The group finalized their name to EXO, with the names EXO-K for the South Korean subgroup and EXO-M for the Chinese subgroup. Their name was taken from the word EXOPLANET.

Girls Generation

Girls' Generation, also known as SNSD, is a South Korean girl group formed by S.M. Entertainment in 2007.The name of the group is derived from Lee Seung-Chul`s 1989 song "Girls Generation". In Korea, the group is referred to as So Nyeo Shi Dae . They are also referred to as SoShi or SNSD, both abbreviated forms of the group's Korean-language name. The name Girls' Generation means that "The generation of girls' domination has come".
