Everybody he'd met had warned him against venturing into Chicago. With it's streets overrun with Infected, it was a death trap. But Chanyeol was never one to listen, and his curiousty about a rumor of a group of people who'd created a safehouse there was too much for Chanyeol to ignore.
Foreword
Chanyeol strained his ears, trying to discern how far away the Infected now were. He could just make out the shuffling of feet, and a few manic laughs reached his ears.
I can't believe this. I've been so careful all these years, how'd I get myself into this situation, and for the first time ever at that. Chanyeol secured his pack tighter around his shoulders and swung his rifle around to lay against the front of his body, ready for use. He was definitely going to need it.
