Ari's P.O.V

I did a few exercises before heading towards the soccer field before I turn my head around as I hear Mr. Kang yell out, “Song Ari! Class isn’t finished yet! Where do you think you’re going?!”

“Sir, I took on a challenge. I need to prove something. It would take 5 minutes tops!” I holler out, noticing in the corner of my eye Jungkook smirking.

I eye a lone soccer ball rolling towards my direction and then I kick it upwards and it flew above my head but before it can land on the floor again, I kick my leg backwards, successfully balancing it on the sole of my sneaker. I smile and then kick lightly again and this time it landed on my forehead before clasping it in my hands. The guy who was fetching the soccer ball stood in front of me staring. I smile back at him and was about to ask permission to borrow the soccer ball when-

“SONG ARI!” Mr. Kang storms in my direction. “You know, I’m not one of those uptight teachers but one of the things I have in common with them is that I don’t like it when my students don’t listen to me. This lesson is not a time where you can freely flirt up a storm with the soccer boys. They have preliminary rounds to practice for.” He frowns at me.

“Sir, I finished my course though and this guy,” -I jab a finger in Jungkook’s direction- “challenged me to a match!” I justify to Mr. Kang.

“Jungkook, you should know clearly you are not meant to interfere with other student’s lessons. You shouldn’t be slacking off, even if you’re the star player of the team! And Song Ari, you should be encouraging your peers like how they did when you went through the course!”
