Jang Jieun, 20 years-old, a student in Seoul University, majoring in Fine Arts

            I remember I was sitting between my parents, hair all down in the most natural way and a pretty knee-length dark-blue dress with white lace for the arms that supposed to boost my confidence. I also remember he came exactly 15 minutes late, all handsome in his black tuxedo, greeting his parents before sitting across me. He looked proper. An appearance that screamed “I am an eligible bachelor and I have everything under my palms”. I found myself smiling at him and he replied me with a barely-recognizable-nod. That was enough to make my heart skipped a bit though. “I am Kris. Kris Wu,” he introduced and I couldn’t help but to think:

"You won't give me to some unclassy man, right Dad?"

"I will try my best to fit your ideal type. I'm willing to change myself for you."

            I remember I was sitting in my car, looking straight at the glass-walled restaurant that I supposed to visit 5 minutes ago. I could see my parents sitting across a family, looking disgustingly excited. Deciding that I had made them wait enough, I brought myself entering the 5-stars restaurant. I also remember she was sitting there all too-obedient for my liking in her appropriate dark-blue dress, giving me a smile before shyly looking down with her reddened-face. Scoff. Goody-shoes, we had here. She looks too innocent and young. I couldn’t help but to think:

"Why can't I choose my own future wife? Why I have to go trough this? Why?"

"We are just too opposite attract. We are not match. What part of that sentence you don't understand, Jieun?"
