For the past two club activities, he is not present and I thought so many things why he didn’t show up; either he transferred or he dropped out. I may be so paranoid about it but I can’t think about anything else. I really thought that he might hate me for I don’t know the reason why I thought of that. I just feel so anxious and I keep whining about it to my friends.   “Why look so down?” Eunji whispered, we’re in the middle of our last class   “I haven’t seen him for two weeks straight, you know,” I huffed my bangs   “Maybe you’ll see him later, okay? Just relax,” Chorong nudged me, eavesdropping from my side   “We’ll go with you later,” Eunji winked at me   “What? Why?”   “Because I wanted to see him, you know,” she wiggled her brows to me and I giggled to her childishness   “We’re doing a quality check,” Chorong smiled at me   These girls really know how to check out a guy huh. I pouted and heaved a deep sigh. Yes, there’s a club activity later and I hope he’s present this time. I waited for the class to finish and as soon as the bell rang, I ran out and went to the bathroom to change into my club uniform. Just as they promised, Chorong and Eunji linked their arms with mine as we walk to the club area. While we are walking, my heart is pounding really hard and I keep my fist clenched from trembling. I think of many possible scenarios that may happen if he’s absent or not.   A few meters away from the courts, I saw his figure. He is the first one that I saw. The moment that my heart started pounding loudly than usual, I became sure that it is him. I don’t know how I recognize him from afar with the other guys surrounding him.   I elbowed Eunji, “H-he’s here,” my voice quivered   “What?! How did you know? We’re not even close to them just yet,” her eyeballs enlarged   “True. I can’t even see their faces clearly,” Chorong narrowed her eyes   “I don’t know. It feels like it’s him,” I pointed the figure that I thought belonged to Four   As we approach them, we glued our eyes on that figure to make sure of what I saw. And guess what? I’m right. It definitely is him and my heart can’t calm down right now. My face flushed red and I can’t take my eyes off of him anymore.   “O. M. G,” Eunji squealed quietly and squeezed my arm   I looked at her proudly with a grin, “I told you so!”   “Yeah, yeah. We’ll stay for awhile, okay? The view here is so nice,” she giggled   After I told them to stay on their spot, I went to look for Kyungsoo to ask what we are going to do because apparently, I’m late again. The members are starting their warm-ups already. Well, our coach didn’t mind it since the schedules with the classes are overlapping. Then, I found him and put my bag next to his.   “So, what’s up?” I asked   “There will be a little tournament between the groups so you should go to yours,” he smiled   “Oh right! I forgot we had our grouping. Thank you!” I hurriedly went to search for my group   I belong to Group 5 and I searched for the faces of my group mates that I remembered. I saw one of them together with the others and to my surprise, Four is with them. I clasped my hand in nervousness.   ‘This is gonna be awkward,’ I told myself as I tried suppressing my feelings with a poker face   I walked towards them and I just feel like collapsing. But I have to get a hold of myself. I have to try harder now because I can’t let him see that I’m weak. My façade started and so are the games. Our coach told us to compete with the other groups and we started the line-up with the 3 boys we have including Four; which I didn’t know the names.   The mini tournament started and the first group we faced is Group 2. I met this girl from that group because we both support as scorers. And throughout the game, I can’t help but to secretly glance at him. I was working happily and taking my time when I heard someone calling out
