Then he reached his apartment. He kicked the door open and a heavy wave of loneliness crashed on him when he realised not a single noise was audible in his flat. Not a single 'welcome home' nor any 'you're late, idiot' to accompany his entrance. No wiggling tail or any sparkling eyes.

 

Without thinking twice, he turned around and drove back to the orphanage.

This was really cute, and I like how you also subtly addressed the slavery issue with hybrid!AUs in this? I like how Sunggyu grew to like Sungyeol even though he wasn't the pet he was looking for (or even the partner he was looking for), and their interactions here were just really adorable. Thank you for writing this :)

I enjoyed this too much for it to be over now!!! ;-;
However, this was still a really really great read! I'm in love with everything. The way you portrayed Sunggyu and his complicated feelings! Hell yes! Also cute and innocent Sungyeol!!!
Their first meeting and Sunggyu telling Woohyun about it, that's one of the cutest things on earth! Or when Sungyeol told Sunggyu what he thought about the drama and the couple-like things they do. Damn. I'm in love with this!
