sunday morningHayoung’s eyelids flutter shut at Naeun’s soft touches against her lips and down her cheek. “You know it’s you, right?” Hayoung opens her eyes at Naeun’s gentle voice and sees the older girl above her, a pensive expression on her face as she stares down at Hayoung. “I may love Chorong unni and Eunji unni, but the way I love you- it’s different from the way I love them, you know that right?”
“Do you love me more?” Hayoung’s voice cracks and she immediately feels selfish for asking this of Naeun.
“Of course,” Naeun answers immediately, hand gently cupping Hayoung’s cheek. “How can I not-” She cuts off and bites her lip, a guilty look in her eyes. “It doesn’t matter. It’s my fault to begin with,” Naeun admits quietly and Hayoung reaches upwards to tuck a wayward strand of the older girl’s hair behind her ear. “I should’ve been better at showing you that I loved you. But you do know that right? That I love you?” Hayoung can only nod because in moments like these, when Naeun looks at her when she’s the only person in the world who matters, it never feels real and she never knows what to do. “I promise to love you better,” Naeun says, jokingly linking their pinkies together and Hayoung lets out a soft laugh. But then the teasing look in Naeun’s eyes fades as she presses a kiss against the palm of Hayoung’s hands before leaning downwards to press their foreheads together. Hayoung’s breath hitches. “I love you, you have to know that,” Naeun confesses, suddenly timid, and something in Hayoung’s chest constricts.
“I do,” Hayoung assures before leaning upwards to press her lips against Naeun’s. “I love you too.”
A/N: Wow, a cheesy little sequel to a cheesy little oneshot. Whoops.
