After spending time in the dorm thinking and eating my 2^nd instant cup of noodles, I decided it

was best to go on a walk. Throwing on my hoodie and my wool hat, I walked through the dorms

and down the stairs into the dimly lit walkways, feeling the cold air against my face and invade my

lungs.

 

My worries seemed to fade as memories of a childhood filled with laughter and smiles kept me

warm. A childhood where there was constant noise and fighting, but never a moment of loneliness,

unlike memories of my teen years, where it was roaming the streets at midnight, lost out of my

mind.

 

Even though I never knew my parents, I never really needed them, I had a brother, a home along

with many other children, and that was all I ever needed.

 

The name Time was rather a spontaneous choice of name for a lost teen, who wanted to end her

time, especially after everything that happened in those years between childhood innocence and

rough adulthood.

 

“What's a pretty young thing doing out at this time of night?” A voice spoke behind me, I turned

only to see a shadow.

 

“Wandering around and yourself?” I was too lazy to deal with this kid at this hour.

 

“Observing the night sky, but now I have someone even more beautiful to stare at.” The person

emerged from the shadows before coming to stand beside me.

 

“Do you want something.” I couldn't help but chuckle at that stupid grin on his face.

 

“You know what, there is a better place to look at stars, actually it's the best place on campus.” My

ears perked up in curiosity.

 

“And where is that?” For once, I was excited to see what he had in mind.

 

“I don't know if you're ready, I mean this is my secret spot, I haven't shown it to anyone before.” He

lead the way, walking backwards as if there was a map of all the passages and pathways inside his

head.

 

We walked for what seemed like almost 20 minutes until we were actually at the edge of the

campus, in front of us, was a crumpling, 5-story warehouse that I had never seen before in all the

time I'd been at the University.

 

The walls themselves, as we walked inside, had chipped plaster, cement floors and steel barrels

with rust stains, suggesting that the barrels had been exposed to water long enough to rust.

 

“How did I never notice this place?” I asked myself as I knew every edge of this campus, or at least

 

I thought I did.

 

“In your defence, this is technically off-campus, and you wouldn't be able to notice it because of the

mini forest that separates the school and this building.”

 

“Fair enough.” We'd reached the top of the stairs, standing in front of a black door at the end of a

narrow hallway.

 

“Close your eyes.”

 

“You're not planning anything, are you?” I eyed him carefully, ready to make a run for it, if the

situation called for it.

 

“Would you relax for once in your life, I am not going to do anything.” I closed my eyes and heard the jiggling of a lock before a click.

 

His hand gently grasped my own as he dragged me out into a new environment, where I could feel

the breeze strong against my face, and my eyelids tingled as if something bright was shining down

on me.

 

His breath was on my neck as he whispered into my ear 'Open your eyes'.

 

Like that, I opened my eyes to the single most beautiful sight I had ever seen, a sight that brought

tears to my eyes.

 

“You really worried me you know, today, I was scared you were hurt, than you tell me not to come

check up on you and all I can do is worry more, Junhong, is there something going on?” I finally

spoke his name, staring directly into his puppy eyes, his real name.

 

“I know I freaked you out, that's why I came by to try to make it up to you, I was just dealing with my own things.” Junhong turned to face me and I could finally smile, not a fake smile but a real one.

 

“You really drive me crazy, you know.” His pout made him way too cute, literally WAY too cute for

a skyscraper like him.

 

“But that's why you love me so much.” I was swept into a cozy back hug before I could even retort.

And before I even understood what happened, I was siting down in Junhong 's tight embrace,

staring out at the night sky full of stars, over a brightly lit city.

 

“I'm sorry, I am really sorry. I won't be able to hold you in my arms anymore. I've messed up big this time.” Junhong 's whispers soothing me to a state of haze, not seeming to register the meaning of his words.

 

“Mmm.” My almost silent response.

 

“I just hope you'll forgive me when the time comes.”

 

It wasn't long before I fell into a fitful sleep, snuggled into the arms of what felt like an angel in a

really cozy sweater. I heard the whispering of a male voice from the distance, but I didn't dare try

to wake myself as I really needed a good night sleep after dealing with Bom for a whole weekend.

 

“Ram. Come on, wake up, you have classes today.” Bom shook my shoulders but almost fell back

when I jumped off the bed, running to the bathroom.

 

“Well that got her up.” I head Bom mumble before the sound of her footsteps died down.

 

Well that was a great sleep. The night sky was so pretty last night from the building, and the

breeze-wait, didn't I fall asleep on the roof of the abandoned building?

 

“Yo Bom, when you came home, was I in bed?” I opened the door to see her with a slice of

watermelon in one hand, and bread in the other.

 

“Yeah, Why? Did you have someone over?” Her eyebrows wiggled in a suggestive manner that I feared oh-so-much.

 

“Was there someone here Ram? I need to make sure I am sleeping on clean bedsheets.”

 

“That is not even funny Bom. How was the nightclub last night?” Was it all a dream? It seemed so surreal.

 

“Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you but the bodyguards wanted me to tell you that they miss you. As for the girls, this one named CL-I think that's her name- was really excited to hear your name and she said she has some urgent business to discuss with you so she gave me her cell number.”

 

“Yeah, seems like there's a lot of urgent business to deal with these days.” With a sigh, I finished washing up, my mind far from reality, wondering what it all meant.

 

Today was going to be far from fun, but I would get to meet my classmates, so I decided to try to make friends, but for me, that also meant some new enemies as well.
