An unconscious man was dragged on the wet stoned-ground. The path was narrow and rats were fussing as their den was interrupted. Slipping would be a dangerous mistake because next to the narrow path was torrent water sewage.

Rotten and garbage smells filled the air but it didn’t bother the one who dragged the man. He wore black waterproof suit from top to bottom. He wouldn’t leave any trace behind. Smiling, he pushed one of the stone on the wall as a secret passage appeared. Then, he dragged the man inside.

After making sure he tied the man’s arm and legs on a table at the center of the room, he got his tools. First, he got a needle and used it later on to administer a drug he had made. He waited for any respond from the man. He was sure this time he would get the answer.

A minute passed. Ten minutes passed. Nothing happened. He was losing his patient as suddenly the man’s finger twitched. He noticed it right away as he couldn’t help but laugh. It worked! It finally worked! God knew how many centuries he had planned this. Finally he got a glimpse of hope.

He wouldn’t fail this time, not in this lifetime, not again. No matter how many innocent he had to kidnap and kill, he would make sure his experiment succeeded.
