You entered a coffee shop, you heard the bell ring when you opened the door and saw a waitress approach you with a warm smile on her face.

“a table for one ma’am?” she asked.

“no, someone’s waiting for me” you answered

“I believe he’s already here!”

“oh, I see” then you saw a mischievous smile slightly forming on her face

“well he must be that handsome guy over there” you followed the direction to which the waitress has pointed using her index finger & there you saw him looking as gorgeous as ever wearing only a pair of white slightly loose shirt with skinny jeans & black shades with his headphones in he’s ears probably listening to one of the songs he wrote & composed himself. Even though he’s wearing normal clothes, still you can’t deny that he looks undeniably hot & handsome in it.

Jonghyun is the type of guy that every girl dreams of. Tall (not as tall as Minho but still considered tall), dark, & handsome. He also has this round puppy eyes that are undeniably adorable that if he uses it, you would fall under his spell & give everything he wants… and I mean everything. He also looks like a dinosaur. A really smoking hot dinosaur if you can say so yourself.

“ma’am?” you snapped out of your thoughts when you heard the waitress calling you.

“huh?” you simply uttered still dazed from what you have been thinking.

“I said if he’s your boyfriend?” you heard her giggle after asking you. Hearing that you felt your cheeks burn just by the thought of it & a small smile leaving your face but suddenly fades when you realize what your relationship with him really was.

“I wish I could say that, but he’s not…. were just… friends that’s all” Yeah just Friends…. That’s all we’ll ever be after this…. you smiled to the waitress before bowing to her and going to the direction where Jonghyun is sitting with he’s headphone still attached to his ears not aware of what’s happening around him. Before you left, the waitress gave you an apologetic smile and bowed back at you. Before turning your back at her you heard her utter

“I really thought they were a couple, too bad, they look perfect for each other” Sighing you approached Jjong to his seat and can’t help but wonder how he managed to look so attractive even if he’s not trying to. How can this dinopuppy look so handsome? How? You mentally cursed yourself for asking a question you can’t even answer and cursed yourself even more knowing that you shouldn’t have these thoughts about him. Cause it’s just not right.

“Like what you see kitty? look your drooling” he said with a hint of I-KNOW-I-LOOK-HOT tone.. you were dragged back to reality when you heard him, frowning when you realized what he just said.

“What did you just call me BARNEY?” you hissed.

“Kitty? Do I look like a ing cat to you?”

“Yes” Jonghyun said while his right hand is on his stomach and the other on his mouth trying to cover up his giggles to not to piss you any further. But he can’t help it. He really likes the looks on your face when you’re pissed. Especially when you’re pinkish cheeks turn into a dark shade of red indicating that you’re almost at the peak of your limit. He just simply loved it.

“you know this shouldn’t have been the day you decided to wear those pair of hello kitty blouse and watch right?” laughing even more as he took another glance at you.

“Ugh….” You gave him a death glare and said “Look you retarded doggysaurus I didn’t come here just to be made fun of, spill, why did you call me? You know were not supposed to see each other right?” you hissed at him with a hint of annoyance in your voice….. from a full smile you saw how Jonghyun’s face shifts into a serious gaze.

“how long?” he said with a serious tone. Your eyes doubled their size when you heard his question. Not knowing what to answer, you just simply uttered the word “what?”

“how long will you keep me waiting?..I mean.. I’m a very patient man but I can’t wait forever” he said with sincerity in his voice If you only knew how much I wanted to be with you. If you only knew! Gathering all your courage and trying to ignore the pain growing in your chest and throat from trying to hold back the tears that’s about to leave your eyes.

“I’m sorry … I made a mistake” you said hesitantly. “mistake?” jonghyun asked with wide eyes.

“I’ve been thinking about it and realized that’s this is a mistake, all of it, we never should have done this in the first place….god why did I even agree to this” you rolled your eyes out of frustration & put your left hand in your forehead…..”this will break his heart if he found out” your voice cracked. The thought of him finding out what you & jonghyun did tears your heart apart. How can I be so selfish? You asked yourself as guilt took over you. “we…we must stop seeing each other, this is the right thing to do, this will be the best for all of us” you said with disappointment in your voice.

“so your just going to throw everything that we had just because of your stupid fear of him finding out about us? Is that it?” jonghyun said raising his voice almost close to shouting. Staring at the bare floor you couldn’t help yourself but try to stare at it avoiding Jonghyun’s gaze that makes you feel powerless once you look directly in his dark orbs. The same dark orbs that became the reason why the two of you are caught up in the situation that you’re in right now.

“!...AND WHAT ABOUT ME HUH? YOU ALWAYS CARE FOR HIM! FOR HIS FREAKIN FEELINGS…. HOW ABOUT ME HUH? DON’T YOU GIVE A DAMN ABOUT HOW I FEEL?” jonghyun laughed sarcastically oblivious to the tears that’s been flowing from his cheeks “YOUR AFRAID OF WHAT HE MIGHT FEEL WHEN HE FINDS OUT ABOUT US? ABOUT OUR RELATIONSHIP oh wait” Jonghyun pauses for a moment and faked a smile “were still not in a relationship are we? I believe the proper term would be an AFFAIR?” you could sense the bitterness in his voice. Jonghyun’s words felt like daggers stabbing you again and again in the chest and because of that, the tears that you have been holding a few moments ago found their way out of your eyes leaving traces of it in your cheeks.

“Im…*sobs*..Im really sorry” the only thing that came out of your mouth.

“psh..of course you are” he said bitterly once again daggers finding their way into your chest. Sighing jonghyun wiped his tears and smiled bitterly at you “Fine, you want this little affair of ours put to an end am I correct? For him” he asked with sarcasm in his tone

Please…please don’t leave me…please you begged for him in your mind but you know he can’t hear you. “Ye…Yes” you stuttered mentally cursing yourself for saying that.

“Well then, so be it” those words came like a bomb exploding in your chest making you feel like fainting in the floor because of the unbearable pain you are feeling right now that is worse than physical torture itself. “when we leave this Coffee Shop everything will be left behind and its all gonna be in the past” Jonghyun’s voice cracked and his face started to burn with newly tears starting to form in his puppy like eyes. Ouch! If words can kill… you were probably be lying lifeless in the Shop’s cold floor by now you thought.

“I agree, that is the right thing to do” you said. As a new set of tears betray your eyes.

“After this will act as total strangers….. That is… what you wanted right kitty?” Jonghyun being the confident jerk he was before. But he’s voice is cold as ever. Hurting you from the inside..god how you wished that somebody will just beat you to death than feeling this pain right now which is pure emotional torture… & you hated every second of it.

“Yes, of course, like we haven’t met before” wiping the last tear on your cheeks you gave him a warm smile and bowed to him politely. Looking at those dark orbs you couldn’t help but to feel powerless like his eyes were drawing you closer making you want to hug him as tight as you can and never let go and never get tired of looking at those dark caring orbs that’s so full of care, passion, and affection every time he looks at you…those dark orbs that made you feel like you are a fragile person that needs to be handled carefully…and those dark orbs that you have to forget and chose to hurt to not get hurt anymore further …the thought of it fills you up with loneliness and despair... this is for the best you said for everybody’s sake I have to forget him…

“It was nice meeting you Kim Jonghyun-ssi” you gave him another honest smile and turned your back at him. You were about to open the door of the Coffee Shop (which is made by glass by the way) when strong arms suddenly grabbed your hand and pulled you in to a tight embrace

“You know this is the first time I heard you call me Jonghyun-ssi & to be honest I don’t like it… it makes me feel like I’m too old for you” he whispered with his husky voice sending chills all over your spine.

“well you are” you said with a wide grin on your face.

“but you like older guys, so I’ll just let this slip since this is the last time we’ll ever be talking to each other like this” jonghyun scoffed with a smirk & you couldn’t help but to admire his handsome features especially those puppy like eyes & lustful lips realizing how much you would miss them and you haven’t even parted yet.

“Touché” you uttered. Jonghyun’s embrace got even tighter “Saranghae” he whispered burying his head in your neck as you heard gentle sobs making your eyes water and pat his back lightly giving him comfort as if telling him that its gonna be okay as the sobs faded slowly… breaking the tight embrace you held Jonghyun’s cheeks with both of your hands and kissed each tear that would fall from his face..

“I love you too” you uttered before a single tear made its way into your cheek and smiled. Jonghyun wiped the tear off your face and kissed your forehead “so this is goodbye?” he asked with a hint of pain in his voice.

“I guess so” you answered trying to fake a smile. Before you could escape from Jonghyun’s tight embrace he sealed your lips with his. The two of you were caught up in the moment trying to savor each moment tasting each other for the last time. Jonghyun tightened his grip on your waste as you lock both of your arms around his neck to deepen the kiss slightly gripping his hair as the two of you create soft moans catching each other’s breath as you pulled your lips away from each other. For you this moment was perfect & wished that it wouldn’t end. But you knew better.

“ahm” the two of you froze from what you are doing and saw a waitress looking at your direction.

“At least get a room you two…aigoo” the waitress scoffed and walked away while shaking her head uttering something you couldn’t hear. You could feel your cheeks burn with embarrassment seeing other customer’s in the shop look at both of you with a smirk on their faces & some looked at you with disgust but you couldn’t care much less of how they think of you right now… your too lonely to think about it. chuckling Jonghyun let go of you & opened the door. But as he do, your smiles faded as the two of you parted your own ways walking in the opposite directions wiping your tears never looking back as you take one step to forget about each other.

As the two parted to opposite directions wiping each tear in their faces feeling the pain that can’t be compared to any pain in the world that hurts more than hell itself.... Pain demanded to be felt and they felt it but as they do they were completely oblivious that a pair of piercing eyes is watching them carrying the same pain they carry and planning a storm that is about to change their lives forever.
