~~~
I shouldn’t have saved the words “I love you” but said it more to you
Even if I was lazy, even if I was tired, I should’ve ran to you because I missed you
I should’ve dropped you off at your home every single day
Instead of meeting friends on the weekend, I should’ve been with you
Sigh.
A long deep exhale of air emitted from his dried lips.
He was sitting alone at the corner of a cozy cafe.
It was his favorite place.
Their favorite place.
His forefinger's tip was tracing the cup's circle opening as he watch every person inside the place talk with their friends or lovers happily.
Sigh.
"Why all these people looks so warm when the rain pours like there's no tomorrow?"
He muttered to himself.
Bitter.
That's how his friends described him.
He's bitter.
No.
He is missing someone.
Someone that is so precious to him.
Someone that he loved so much.
Someone that he wanted to be with for the rest of his life.
But he let her go.
He pushed her away.
Just because he was insecure about himself.
Thinking that he wasn't good enough for her.
That anyone else out there can make her happy more than he could.
A sullen expression was drawn upon his face.
He leaned back on the chair and closes his eyes, ignoring the buzzing voices around him.
Letting himself slowly drifts away with his thoughts.
Regrets.
His regretting everything that he did.
Everything that he said to her.
Every little bad thing.
"I shouldn't have pushed you away."
"I loved you and still loving you so much."
Why am I regretting now? Why didn’t I know back then?
I’m sorry (I’m sorry), I’m sorry, baby (I’m sorry, baby)
Why am I regretting now? You are so precious to me
I hoped that I would remain as a good memory to you
An annoying vibration that comes from his pocket interrupted his silence.
He groaned in frustration and picked up the call.
"Suga's here."
"Hey, bro."
"What, Namjoon?"
"Sorry for disturbing you in whatever you were doing. I have an important news for you."
"Spill it."
"But first, we have to meet up. Where are you?"
"Can't you just say it to me through this call? It's my freaking day off, why do I have to worry about work this day? I need rest."
"Okay, okay. Fine. Remember our one client that wanted to hire us permanently in their company but we declined?"
"Hm."
"They called again. Their boss doubled the offer."
"And so?"
"And so what? It's a very big deal, dude. More money. We should accept it."
"Yah, our plan is to create our own world in photography. Now, you're backing out because of money."
"We can still make our own company and they only need us to be their photographer, not buying our 'world'."
Sigh.
"I'll think about it."
"Think quick. They might change their mind."
"I'll hung up."
"Wait, dude---"
And with just one flick on his phone, he ended the call without hletting his friend continue his words.
"Heh, more money. Typical Namjoon."
Suga took a sip from his cup of coffee. The drink was now a little cold, but he didn't mind.
He glanced at the glass window not far from where he was sitting.
The rain has stopped.
But the the clouds are still dark.
