“MiYoung Unni, can you take over table four for me? Aeri Unni gave me too many tables again.”

“This is the last time, Min. You need to speak up to Aeri-ssi and tell her you can only handle so much.” I finished tying my hair into a ponytail and smoothed out my apron before I picked up the tray filled with drinks for table four.  It was filled with various coffees and teas as well as a large pitcher of water.

“Min, who gets what?” I peered over the counter to find my little sister cleaning up broken glass, again. An order of food was all over the floor, getting under peoples feet, making an even larger mess.

“Yah! What are you doing! Uncle is going to fire you when he finds out you broke more stuff!”

Min looked up at me with pleading eyes, silently begging me to not tell him. “I uh, forget who gets what. I’m sor- OUCH!” She quickly stuck her finger in , trying to stop the bleeding.

“Be careful, we have a dust pan and brush for a reason.”

I turned around and made my way to the table with my tray. There were six young looking men waiting for me to serve them, all very attractive. They all were dressed casually, but I could tell that what they wore was pricey. My eye was instantly drawn to the one sitting at the end of the table, facing me. He had soft features but his stare was intense, as though he was deep in thought, or maybe just tired. He was ignoring the other people at the table and looking at something on his phone. As I approached, we locked eyes for a second and the feeling it gave me made me uneasy, in a good way, like there was something familiar about him.

“Miyoung-ah?”
