The breeze of the Hawaiian air has made goose bumps appear on my skin. The sweet air, beautiful scenery and atmosphere makes it even better. '' Mae! Ellis Mae, come on we have to board the plane. The base can't wait for us that long,'' Mabelle shouted over the propellers of the plane. I grab my bag and began to run to the plane. Looking back at Honolulu one more time, I take in all of the island I can see. I turn on my heels to enter the plane. The outside looks like a normal plane, but the inside, golly its a sight. Creme chairs, two couches, tables for food, this became a wonderful trip, besides me going to Japan. OH! My apologies, let me introduce myself. I am Head Nurse Ellis Mae Robins. Along side me is  Head Nurse Mabelle Clemens. We get along very well even though we contrast in our physical appearance. I'm Black, she's white. I have thick cotton like hair, she has smooth corse hair. Many people haven't seen this combination since peanut butter and jelly, especially on the other side of the world. Today, and probably for the rest of the war, we will spend our time in Japan. Our base is a neutral base of the US Army from Ohio. I have never traveled that far from the country, but a little adventure wont hurt.
