A Feeling I Truly Believed In Because Of You

I Always Believe In You

The week seemed to fly by so fast, the big day had seemed to arrive in the blink of an eye. Jonghyun sighed as he looked around the big arena hall, crowds of people seating around the large swimming pool. Jonghyun was on the college sports team and it was the big swimming champion race. He had been practising for months for this big day although he still wondered why he bothered.

It wasn't like anyone cared or was bothered about it in his life. They were all too busy fussing over his step brother Minho who was on the football and basketball teams. It was because Minho was always bringing home medals and trophies every single day while Jonghyun wasn't the greatest but did his best. His parents never came to any big event in his life or big sport events he was appearing in.

He hated his family situation, his mum ran off with Minho's dad and a few months later his own dad hooked up with Minho's mum. They all acted like the best of friends now and it made the puppy like man sick in the stomach. He liked Minho a lot, the kid was genuine and nice but he couldn't handle the parents. Jonghyun left home to live in a dorm near the college and even during the long holidays it was where he chose to stay.

Seated on the creaky wooden bench, Jonghyun waited for the other swimmers to come out, head hanging low and feeling a little sick. What the older didn't spot was a slightly younger boy quietly squeezing him self through the crowds of people. Finding an empty spot right in the middle of the front row by the big pool.

They had met just over two weeks ago by pure chance. The younger boy was searching for a place to clean his dance kit as the boilers in his dorm had broken. Being the gentleman Jonghyun was, he offered to wash the younger boy's kit for him. They ended up talking for hours on end, both surprised they hadn't met each other before.

From just that one meeting, Jonghyun felt like he found someone who might actually care a little. Each day they would pass by, smiling and talking when they could in between studying. Jonghyun found out the younger was studying Fashion, Art, Dance and Physics as well as helping out at the rescue dog centre ten minutes from his dorm.

His name was Kibum but Jonghyun called him Key, finding the nickname rather adorable. It was just over a week since they had met, that Jonghyun felt like he found someone who not only meant something to him but gave his life a meaning. They had met nearly every single day since they first bumped into each other. They got lunch together at a small cafe close by and even grabbed some dinner together most nights.

Jonghyun found him self waking up with a smile on his plump lips. Finding the days feels brigther since the feline boy entered his life, even though they had only just met one another. Key seemed to take such an interest in what he was studying and even enjoyed the songs he wrote himself. That alone made the older's heart flutter wildly. Key had giving him the strength and support he secretly always wished for.

One evening after letting the younger use his shower in his dorm as there was no hot water in the younger's block. Jonghyun had cooked dinner for the younger, both having a little bit of free time before more course work would be handed to them. The night was filled with them teasing one another, joking and finding out even more about each other. Jonghyun couldn't lie, Key just made him feel all warm and wanted. The smile never once faltered or disappeared when the beautiful feline boy was around.

Time seemed to had passed them so fast, the younger panicking as the last bus to his block was due so soon and it was nearly a 50 minute walk there. The weather was awful and there was no way Jonghyun was letting the younger walk out in the heavy rain and chilly wind. He offered for Key to sleep over, he offered something to sleep in and would drive Key to his dorm in the morning to get anything he needed for the day.

Jonghyun would never force Key to stay but it wasn't safe to drive in such awful conditions let alone walk out there. Much to the older's happiness, Key agreed to sleep over with a faint blush visible on his rosy cheeks. That night Jonghyun had opened up to Key, revealing about his family and how the younger was the only one to bring a smile to his lips in years. The younger was so supportive and made sure to reassure Jonghyun that he was there for the older night and day.

Key sat down, feeling a little nervous and his heart beating faster at the sight of Jonghyun at the other end of the hall. It broke his heart to see the older look so defeated even before it had begun. Key had rushed from his dorm, missing the bus and running all the way to the big hall that was in the centre of the college. Wearing a simple pair of dark blue jeans and a knitted red sweater, black trainers with turquoise coloured soles.

One shoe had turquoise coloured laces while the other had red. Finishing the look off, Key wore a white necklace with fake teeth and a black cap. The younger stood out from all the other dull colours people were wearing. His black hair styled perfectly with his bang's slightly falling over his eyes and forehead. The feline boy nearly choked on his breath when he watched Jonghyun remove his tracksuit, only wearing a very tight pair of black swimming trunks.

It certainly didn't leave much to the imagination, the younger tried hard not to stare so much but it was a bit difficult with the older's bulge on show. Jonghyun still hadn't noticed that he had arrived or was even there, Key could tell from the look in those large, warm puppy eyes he was sad. Luckily the younger arrived just in time, the start of the race was just moments away, the younger felt nervous and excited

. He didn't care if people were going to stare at him weirdly, he would scream and holler as loud as he could to cheer on the older. He wanted Jonghyun to know how much he believed in him and how proud he is. The older had given Key so much support when it came to his studies and because of  Jongyun, the feline boy got the highest mark on his recent fashion design.

Key gulped and fiddled with his sleeve nervously when Jonghyun stood on the podium, stretching his muscles. The way the older's abs stood out and the muscles tensed beneath them only caused Key to have rather dirty thoughts about Jonghyun. The blush on his cheeks seemed to match the colour of his red jumper in that moment.

The younger just kept his eyes on the puppy like man, his lane was the one closest to where the younger was seated. It was a fifty lap race up and down the large indoor pool, it was going to be long but Key didn't mind staying there even thought it got quite hot and stuffy inside. As soon as the bell rang out loud, the swimmer's dived into the pool, automatically the crowds started to shout and scream like crazy.

For the first ten laps, Key watched Jonghyun closely, he was in third place out of eight so far. He was doing well but Key knew if he pushed him self he could do even better. It was nearly half way though and Key was slowly started to chant out the older boy's name, he knew Jonghyun couldn't hear him but he felt a little out of place with every other swimmer's family and friends surrounding him.

It was a comment from an rather old looking women seated behind him, her son must of been behind Jonghyun as she cursed the older boy. It made the slightly younger boy's blood boil with rage, how dare she swear and curse Jonghyun for doing well. His adrenaline kicked in and he stood up, screaming the older's name as loud as he could.

"Go on Jonghyun, you can do it Hyung. I believe in you Jjong" Key shouted with all his might. His face was flustered as he kept on shouting out for the older, praising him and hopefully giving him strength to keep going.

Jonghyun felt exhausted already and he was only half way through the race, he was thinking of giving up right there and then. He didn't feel like he had a reason to keep going until the sound of that voice reached his ears. At first the older thought he was dreaming, no way would anyone come along to something so boring to support him, maybe he was imagining it with his ears filled with water.

Yet when he had reached the other end and got ready to turn back, he heard that angelic voice loud and clear, the cute nickname making his tummy feel all fuzzy and warm. Hearing Key say he believed in him made his heart nearly stop beating for a moment, no one had ever said that before. It made the older smile and gave him such a boost to keep going, quitting wasn't an option now, he had to do well for Key. Key kept on shouting for the older whether he could hear them or not, the people around the younger staring at him like he was insane and out of his mind.

The younger's hand's trembled with each lap completed, his feline eyes sparkled when he watched the older push him self harder. Both seemed to forget about everyone else in the room, it was them alone, Key being Jonghyun's number one fan. Time went by quickly each lap ending faster then the last, it was the sound of a whistle being blown that signalled the final lap. Key was screaming his head off, chanting the older's name, crossing his fingers with hope.

The feline boy wanted Jonghyun to win, it would mean so much to the younger to see the older take home a medal and show that all the hard work and training was worth it. The younger would be proud of Jonghyun if he came first, second or even last, the fact he completed the race and gave it his all was all the younger wanted to see.

Time seemed to freeze the moment the older touched the wall where the starting podiums were, the younger's eyes widening in surprise and happiness. Tears threatening to fall as he looked around and realised just how well Jonghyun had done, the sound of people around cursing still and wondering how he could of beat their son didn't bother Key.

"J...Jjong you won. Omg you won hyung" Key shouted as he rushed out of his seat and to wear the older was in the water still. He brushed off the glares and nasty whispers as he rushed to Jonghyun who had gotten out the pool and sat on the edge.

It seemed like Jonghyun didn't realise he had won the race, the sound of the younger's voice made him turn around, a smile growing on his plump lips. Worry filled his eyes when he noticed Key had tears free falling from his beautiful, striking feline eyes yet a smile on those soft bow shaped lips. The force of Key attacking the older in to a hug made them both fall in to the water, everyone standing up and crowing around to see if they were alright.

Jonghyun was shocked at first and held the younger in his arms, bringing them up to the surface, Key didn't seem to care that he was now soaking wet and his clothes no doubt ruined. Key beamed happily before placing his lips on the older's plump lips, he was shocked at first but relaxed and closed his eyes after a few moments.

It wasn't a very long kiss, just a simple, loving kiss, Jonghyun's arms tightening around Key's clothed body. The feline beauty pulled away first, still smiling happily and leaned his forehead against Jonghyun's, staring in to those gorgeous, loving puppy eyes. "Y..you won Jjongie, I am so proud of you Jonghyun" Key whispered softly, his feline eyes twinkling brightly and the smile on his bow shaped lips blossomed brighter with each word said.

It took a minute for the younger's words to truly sink in, the older's eyes widening with shock, he had won the race, he had finally won something and it was because of Key. Jonghyun didn't say anything but pressed his lips softly against the younger's before moving to help Key out the pool.

Key changed in to the older's normal every day clothes he had brought along, he didn't want the younger to catch a cold sitting in wet clothes. Jonghyun put on his tracksuit before going up to receive his medal, Key watched on proudly, smiling widely as the older had the gold medal placed around his neck. The younger didn't care if he looked stupid wearing the older's clothes, they were a little baggy on him but it was better then sitting there like a drowned rat.

He didn't regret what he did though, the younger felt so many different emotions when it hit him that Jonghyun had won. People just glared at Key when he stood up and clapped loudly, smiling brightly when Jonghyun looked up and stared straight at him. Key wondered if he looked like some crazed fan or something, he couldn't help but be so proud of Jonghyun especially knowing he was the only one who ever believed in him.

They had only known each other a few weeks and already Key felt like Jonghyun was someone so special to him. The way he offered to help him the day they melt sealed the deal there and then that the older was someone with a gentle, kind heart. Key just kept his gaze on Jonghyun as some people spoke about boring stuff, Jonghyun smiling back and even making a small heart with his finger's and sending it Key's way.

The moment they announced everyone could leave, Key jumped out of his seat with Jonghyun's duffel bag which had his now soaking wet clothes in and rushed to the older puppy like man. Jonghyun smiled and opened his arms, instantly wrapping them around the younger in a tight embrace the moment Key reached him. Jonghyun twirled the younger around causing him to giggle lightly, the sound was like music to his ears.

Once they left the hall and slowly made their way back to Jonghyun's dorm. The older stopped and picked a flower out of his bouquet, sliding a beautiful yellow tulip behind the younger's left ear and a pink rose behind the right ear. Jonghyun knew those flowers had a special meaning behind them, the yellow tulip meant "hopelessly in love" and the pink rose meant "admiration/appreciation". Jonghyun then handed Key the bunch of brightly coloured flowers, before surprising the younger when he took the medal off.

"This is for you Kibummie, I won this because of you Bum. You deserve it more then I do Bummie" Jonghyun whispered softly as he placed the medal around the younger's shoulder's.

He smiled brightly watching the gold medal rest against the younger's clothed chest, taking the duffel bag from Key's hands and throwing it over his back. Key was left speechless as Jonghyun gave him the flowers and the medal, he didn't feel like he had done anything to deserve it but nothing came out his mouth when he wanted to protest.

The smile on Jonghyun's lips said more then words could express, the younger ran his finger's over the warm medal, his smile growing wider. Key nearly felt his heart burst in his chest when he felt Jonghyun's slightly larger, rougher yet warm finger's intertwine with his own. Neither said a word as they walked to the older's dorm, both smiling and feeling comfortable with each other. It was scary how their feelings had grown so quickly.

Key didn't expect him self to kiss Jonghyun but he just did and it felt so right, even now as they hold hands and finger's intertwined together. Nothing had felt more right and more perfect then it did in that moment, it didn't take long before they reached the older's dorm, Jonghyun taking the younger's clothes to wash them and dry them for him.

The rest of the day was spent laying on Jonghyun's bed cuddled up, they ordered pizza as neither could be bothered to cook or even move and Key had already decided he was going to stay over with Jonghyun for the night. Key had still kept the medal around his neck, the older had kindly put the flowers in some water while the younger stayed in his dorm.

They just cuddled and talked, Jonghyun still felt shocked knowing Key had come along to watch the race just for him, no one had ever done that and the feeling was indescribable. It certainly made all the hard work and training so worth while. Seeing how happy Key was and even knocking them in to the pool from the force of the younger throwing him self at the older made all the aches and pains worth while as well.

They had tried to watch some movie showing on the TV but both were to distracted to pay much attention. They soon ended up in a passionate lip lock, making out heavily on the older's bed. Both knew they were not ready to take it that far, it didn't seem right as they had  only known each other for two weeks. It was a mixture of happiness and their real feeling's bubbling up that caused them to express their desire and love for one another.

"So beautiful Bummie, thank you so much for everything" Jonghyun whispered as his finger's traced over the younger's striking features. Softly caressing the milky white skin as his finger's moved lower, slowly caressing the cold, solid gold medal that still sat on the younger's chest.

Jonghyun couldn't believe he had won, he wanted to give up and quit but hearing and seeing Key there just made him want to keep going and make the younger proud. Key smiled warmly up to the older, finger's caressing the warm, soft tanned skin before softly pulling Jonghyun down so he could kiss those lips again. "So proud of you Jjong" Key whispered as they pulled apart again, both smiling softly.

Eyes glittering under the small amount of light coming from the bed side table lamp. Both giggle lightly before Jonghyun moved to the side and Key shuffling to cuddle up to the older. He still couldn't help but think about Jonghyun's body and the bulge in those tight black swimming trunks earlier, it always made him feel hot and flustered and blushing like an idiot in love.

Jonghyun smiled and held the younger tightly in his arms, softly letting his fingers from one hand comb through the younger's fluff black hair, loving how soft and silk each strand felt beneath his finger's tips. Jonghyun would of never believed anyone a few weeks ago if they said that he would find someone who supported him and would be proud of him. Never did he even imagine that the same person would make him fall in love so fast and so hard.

Everything seemed to make sense for the older, he felt more determined to do well and study hard to pass. He felt more determined to train harder for the different sports events knowing that there will be someone there supporting him and cheering him on from the side lines. All he had wanted and craved for is someone's attention, someone to say I believe in you or I am proud of you.

Now that Jonghyun had found that, he never wanted to let the younger go. Key meant the world to him even in the short space of two weeks, Key had changed his out look on life completely. Meeting Key had been a blessing in disguise, he had found what he wanted and so much more in the younger feline boy. Key brought him happiness, joy and a chance to really give his everything that is thrown his way.

Jonghyun watched as the younger laid in his arms, sleeping peacefully, mouth slightly open, little button nose wrinkled up so cutely. The older wondered how he had gotten so lucky after so many years of nothing but pain and misery. Key was everything and more and Jonghyun had a feeling something very beautiful was going to blossom between them.

Already he was very smitten with the beautiful man in his arms. One thing was certain and Jonghyun planned to never let Key go. Key was someone he wanted in his life forever, the younger was his biggest supporter, number one fan and his first ever love and to Jonghyun their is nothing more special then that. Jonghyun knew he was very lucky.

He had found his true life long partner, best friend and soul mate and it's not everyday he would find someone as special as Key walk in to his life so easily like Key did. He finally found someone that believed in him and knowing Key did meant the world to Jonghyun, those words will forever be repeated in the older's head while thinking

of the younger because he was just as proud of Key. Having Key believe in him was one thing but to know that Key meant something more special to him then just a friend was just over whelming yet made him so happy. Jonghyun couldn't help but softly mutter "Thank you" over and over as he watched the younger sleep. He honestly didn't know what else to say that showed just how much he appreciated and show how grateful he was to the younger for just simply showing up earlier. He hadn't even asked Key to come along so knowing he came on his own accord meant everything to Jonghyun.

Jonghyun wasn't stupid, he knew what he was feeling for the feline beauty. he was a love sick puppy, madly in love with the boy who truly showed him just how four simple words could do so much. He loved Key so much even though they had met just two weeks ago. It was a feeling he had never felt before yet it left him with butterflies in his stomach, his heart beating wildly and each time they touch, goosebumps rise on his skin.

Key just felt so perfect in his arms and the way their lips melted together so perfectly. He was madly and crazy in love and for the first time in his 21 years of life it was feeling Jonghyun one hundred percent truly believed in because of Key.
