Ever since they were young Chorong, Bomi,  Eunji, Naeun, Namjoo and Hayoung would always stick together.  They even promised each other that they would always protect each other. A virus was starting to spread around the world. Slowly people started dying and the government had to do something. They didn't want the rest of the country to catch the virus so they made barracks and put the people who were not infected there. The government sent carriers to each city in korea to pick up the people are bring them to safety. Chorong was in her room when her parents walked into her room and started packing her stuff.

"Omma what's going on?" 10 year old Chorong asked.

"Baby we have to leave." Her omma got down to her level and explained to her.

"Omma why?" Chorong looked confused.

"Baby it's hard for you to understand now. We just had to go now." Her omma gave her a hug and grabbed the suitcase heading downstairs. Chorong just followed her omma downstairs. When suddenly a man in a military uniform went infront of Chorong trying to lead her to the carrier. Chorong ran to her omma and hid behind her back.

"Chorong ah don't be scared he's here to help us." She said trying to comfort her. Chorong peeked from behind her omma to see the military personnel smiling at her which made her feel at ease. She followed the man to the carrier and he helped her up. Her omma followed into the carrier followed by her appa. After 30 more minutes the carrier was full of people. Chorong wanted to walk around so she pulled her omma's shirt to tell her to follow. While Chorong was wandering around she saw two familiar faces. It was Naeun and Hayoung but wait where's Bomi, Eunji and Namjoo. They should be here somewhere.

"Annyeong Naeun ah, Hayoungie." Chorong greeted them.

"Oh Annyeong unnie." They said simultaneously.

"Unnie have you seen Eunji unnie, Bomi unnie and Namjoo unnie? We've been looking for them." Hayoung asked.

"No I haven't seen them. Where could they be?" Chorong wondered. They went to go look for them while Chorong's omma followed after them. The carrier was about to land so they told us to take our seats. So Chorong said goodbye to Naeun and Hayoung and went to sit down with her omma. Once they got off the carrier they found themselves in one of the barracks.

"Omma is it possible that Eunji, Bomi and Namjoo are in a different place?" Chorong asked her omma because she was worried about her friends.

"I'm not sure Chorong ah maybe they will tell us later." Her omma grabbed her hand so that she wouldn't get lost and headed to their assigned room. Once we put our stuff away in our room an annoucement was heard through the intercom to have everyone go to the main hall. Everyone was gathered at the main hall and there was a person standing on a stage. He told us to check the board to his right to check if our names were on there. After talking about the rules in the barracks. He left and told us to proceed in our day before leaving. Chorong grabbed her omma and went to go look at the board. Chorong was scanning the board in hopes to see her missing friends names but to her surprise they weren't there.

"Omma their names are not on here." Chorong said almost close to tears.

"I'm sure their fine baby. Don't worry you'll see them again I promise." Her omma smiled at her giving her daughter a hug. They headed back to their room and went to go sleep. Everything that's happening to Chorong is hard for a 10 year old. Her omma feels bad that Chorong has to experience these events at such a young age. She looked at Chorong while she was sleeping and slowly fell asleep.
