Foreword
"Have you ever heard of revengeful foetus?" I quitely asked him, my eyes twinkling.
He was holding my right palm, rubbing it against his. Eunmi and Kyungsoo quiet a commited couple, stood dumbstuck, looking at both of us smilingly. Somewhere I knew their minds were raising all kinds of questions. Eunmi murmured close to my ear, bending near my face, "Why have you raised such a stupid query?"
"If a person like me can fall for the wildest person on this earth, then I think anything at all is possible," Gin answered me politely. He'd been compassionate enough since the past two weeks when the clouds of dawn had faded away. He had the unusual glow on his face which revealed glittering eyes. I smiled, trying to think of the possible reasons. Just because I was breathing for some reason, I could look staight into his eyes, or was there something else to it?
He adjusted the pillow under my head and I asked, "Do you believe in sinful love?"
I looked straight into his eyes again and he politely said,"Yes." He was stern but that didn't prevent me from going on,"Can you fall in love with the antagonist of the story rather than the protagonist, even if that leads you to the most haunting place ever?"
"Coco, I think you should sleep now."
"Gin please," I tried to plead with a small drop of pearl arising in my eye. "Please answer me."
"I don't know; maybe no."
"Are you sure, Gin?"
"Don't you think you are asking way too many questions now? Just because I take care of you doesn't mean you can eat my head."
I was quiet. I knew my silence would affect him. He took three steps towards me again. "I'm willing to go wherever you wish to lead me," he winked.
"It can be an immortal place."
"I dont have to worry as long as you are with me."
I smiled. He had passed the buck to me. The couple next to us proclaimed loudly, "Take a room! And when do you guys plan to complete your love story?"
I blushed and Gin was embarassed too. Eunmi and Kyungsoo looked confused. I knew we had been boring them.
I smiled, wincing at him, "And here begin a story where the good falls in love with the evil.....only to realise that sooner or later somewhere evil is good too......."
