Suicide NoteUmma, Appa,
I am writing this letter to tell you how truly grateful I am to be your daughter. You have provided me with the best things in life, but still I was never happy. I am not blaming you for how much my life . It was my fault. I was a failure as a person. Although you were too busy to get to know me, I know in my heart that you love me very much. There was never a day that I didn’t regret not being able to be the daughter you can be proud of. I wish I could’ve done better, but it is too late now.
By the time you read this, I have already plunged to my death.
I love you... Umma, Appa.
And I am very sorry.
Xxxx,
Nicole

She sobbed and sobbed, not only for this stupid mistake (she had thought of wearing her favorite dress but then she realized she was going to be a bloody mess by the time this was over and didn’t want to ruin the fabric) but also for how sad it was that she was going to die at age twenty. She was so young, so full of life, with so many wonderful things ahead of her— if only she was strong enough to go on.
She let her bare feet move a little closer to the edge, her hands balled into fists at the end of stiff arms. She shut her eyes tight, bracing herself for her inevitable death when a voice stopped her in her tracks.
“Xxxx Nicole? P.S. This is my suicide note? Really?!”
It was a voice she had never heard before, and although she was too focused on getting dying over with, she couldn’t resist to wheel around and correct him. “It’s read as kiss kiss kiss!”
The stranger just blinked at her.
“Kiss. Four Xs.” Nicole added, sniffling.
He narrowed his eyes on the piece of paper in his hand, furrowed his bro
