Foreword
Lani and Jongin grew up together, an interesting duo; one a dancer, the other a trained killer. But as the quote goes 'Opposites Attract'. Together in secret since Jongin joined SM, the couple powered through tough and trying times. Until one night, Lani finally broke. Her Jongin had been consumed by his stage presence, no longer answering to Jongin, but Kai. As the months passed by and Kai became cold and distant towards Lani, it only took one mission and one girl to throw their relationship in the bin.
Kai, or rather Jongin, had finally found his way back to himself, no longer letting his ego get in the way of his relationship...but too little too late. After months of neglect and avoidance, Lani left. Leaving nothing but a note in their apartment, she aimed to leave Seoul...but something held her back. The ache in her chest grew day by day as her new apartment door was harassed by her ex-boyfriend. Becoming fed up with the constant banging and texts, Lani organised a meeting with Jongin, only to destroy his motives immediatley.
