The next day, Gui Gui went to Aaron‘s house and took all of her stuff and moved to Wang Zi‘s house, temporarily.

Gui Gui slammed the door open and it made a loud noise.

Aaron: What was that?

Aaron was sitting on the couch and found Gui Gui standing near the door.

Aaron: Oh babe, where were you? You didn’t go home last-night.

Gui Gui: Don’t call me babe, we’re over.

Aaron couldn’t believe his ears, this was the day that he never wanted to happen. Were his ears playing tricks on him?

Aaron: What? Babe, don’t joke like that.

Gui Gui: I’m not joking. Tell me, what does it feel kissing Hong Shi?

Aaron: Wh-what?

Aaron was shocked and speechless. How did she know what happened yesterday?

Gui Gui: You know what happened.

Gui Gui took out her phone for proof. Aaron’s eyes widened upon seeing the picture.

Aaron: Who took this?!

Gui Gui: Don’t act like you don’t know what happened.

Aaron: I don’t. Gui, trust me.

Gui Gui: Trust you? I trusted you, but what did you do?! I don’t know if I can trust you anymore.

Aaron: Can you let me explain?!

Gui Gui: No, I already saw the truth. I don’t need your explanations.

Aaron: But..-

Gui Gui: I’m here to get my stuff, not to see you nor talk to you.

She walked away and walked to her room, tears flowing down.

Gui Gui: (thoughts) I swear, I’ll never trust him ever again..

She opened her closet and grabbed all of her clothes, stuffing it inside her suitcase. Then… she heard the door creak open. Footsteps, coming closer and closer to her.

Aaron: (whispered) Don’t leave me..

He wrapped his arms around her waist, tightening it.

Gui Gui: Let go of me.

Aaron: Why don’t you let me explain?

Gui Gui: because I know what you’ll say.

Aaron: Can’t you just listen for a minute.

Gui Gui: No.

Aaron: Ugh, fine if that’s what you want then we’re through!

Gui Gui: Good, that you know.

Gui Gui took her suitcase and walked towards the door. 
Before Gui Gui could reach the doorknob, Aaron hugged her from the back once again.

Aaron: I didn’t mean what I said. Please, I beg you, please forgive me..

Gui Gui: This’ll be the last hug you will ever receive from me.

She unwrapped Aaron’s hug and opened the door.

Aaron: WHY WON’T YOU LET ME EXPLAIN?!

Aaron shouted from the other side. Gui Gui ran as fast as she can. She didn’t know where she was going, but it didn’t matter. All she wanted to do was to run away.

She looked at the sky, it was turning gray. Gui Gui had no plan to leave, she knew it would rain. By then, she felt a droplet of water landing on her shoulder. Before she knew it, the rain was pouring so heavily. But she didn’t care, the rain washed away her troubles.

Instead of running, Gui Gui walked home in the rain. The raindrops were cold and she was freezing out there, but her heart was in the worst condition. I guess everything that she worked for wasn’t worth it. All that sacrifices she did was not worth it at all..

Voice: We’re almost in Taiwan, make sure to pick us up.

Full of determination, Wang Zi walked to his car, holding up an umbrella and headed to the airport. This’ll definitely get Aaron and Gui Gui back together. He smiled, proud of himself.
