Shane Wilhem POV

I entered the house with something bothering inside me. I cannot believe Eric is now being close with Andie.

Ever since Eric came back from France, he had always been so distant from everybody. It's probably the guilt that has been bugging him. Or not, but with all this tricky fake image that he was pulling off, I think he's probably that guilty to hide from me or should I say, hide himself from everyone to keep what he did to Jade away from the limelight. He is the reason why Jade left. He is the reason why Jade went far from me now.

My heart raced by just the thought of her.

I miss her. So much. Good thing I have Alex there to watch over her for me. I knew he wouldn't dare to touch her. We don't really have the tight sibling relationship but I knew I could trust him.

I somehow felt relieved because of that.

But why did Eric all of a sudden thought of  revealing himself to Andie and tell her everything about what happened to us? Or I guess, not everything.

Not that I really care, I just thought he liked Jade.

What game is he playing now?

I got caught from my train of thoughts when someone called my name from behind. I turned around and there's Matt, scrolling on his phone lounging on the sofa.

I smirked and sat across him

"Sup" I replied

"I smell something " his brows curled down

"What?" I asked confused

"I smell letter N" he said making me frown in my case

"And letter D!" he beamed

I paused and thought for a minute. ND? What the hell was that supposed to mean?

He smirked

"What are you talking about?" I asked coldly leaning comfortably on the back of the sofa

"Think about it"

"I got nothing" I said quickly perfectly didn't bother to think

"I'm talking about little miss cute stubborn you genius." he chuckled

"ND... ND" I mumbled when a bulb lighted up "Andie?" I asked unsurely

"Who else do you think" he said

"What about her?" I asked

He gazed at me giving me his knowing look and kept his phone in his pocket.

"I think you're being too gentleman to her. Just like what you always did to Jade" he smirked

I glared at him "That is not true"

"Tell me about it" he completely find this amusing, huh...

"Whatever" I told him coldly

"See? You're completely denying it, Shane. You so like Andie, admit it"

"What the hell are you talking about? I don't like her" I snapped

"Right"

"Did you come over here just for that?" I asked annoyed

"Not really, I'm here to confirm things bugging me"

"Bugging you?"

"Never mind" he waved his hand "Back to the topic" he said

I snorted, "Seriously Matt? What made you think I'd like that little dimwit?"

He chuckled. Just the reply I was expecting, "That's exactly what you said when you're still denying what you feel about Jade"

"Are you comparing Jade to Andie? They're not even close a bit. Andie is nothing like Jade"

Matt shook his head in disapproval while grinning ear to ear, "You know, I honesty think Andie's way better than Jade"

I chuckled, "Oh, really? Then give me at least one thing similar with Jade and Andie?"

"They're probably the only girls in this world that would say no to you. The girls that you would hard to get" he said

That hit me a bit. Thinking that Jade didn't even liked me the way I like her. It gives me pain in the chest. Matt really knows how to play this kind of games.

I brushed all the thoughts bugging me and just replied smugly, "Oh please, she's totally into me"

"Who? Jade or Andie?"
