The sun shined brightly, although the air is piercing cold. The sky is clear, and the wind is still. The atmosphere will completely numb you not only physically, but emotionally. Not many people were out. Yet, there's a particular famous midget walking alone without her manager or bodyguard, just wanting some alone time. Who's that? None other than Kim Taeyeon, of course. She's walking on a sidewalk while no one is around. Creepy, but peaceful; she likes and hates it at the same time. 

Kim Taeyeon stopped when she sees the girl that suddenly appeared from a corner in front of her. The girl still looks as young as ever. Her skin is still moisturized, her hair is perfectly in place, and her body still seems to be in shape. She's still flawless. 

Taeyeon inwardly frowned. The only thing that changed about her is her eyes. Her gaze… her eyes… they seem a bit more… mature? No, that's not it. They seem more… experienced. Other than that, the girl is still Jessica Jung… Or is she? Taeyeon wondered if her personality changed at all. 

Taeyeon gulped when Jessica neared. What should she do? Should she greet her? Smile? Ignore her? No. She wanted to groan out of frustration. Taeyeon isn't the best when it comes to socializing, especially with someone she was once really close with then fell apart with. 

The kid leader couldn't contain her nervousness when Jessica stood not too far away from her. A few sentences were on the tip of her tongue, but she couldn't bring herself to talk. 

The byuntae stiffened when Jessica closed the gap. Then, Taeyeon is left with shock. Jessica brushed pass her and kept on walking. Over the years even when they were in the same band, Taeyeon was always the one to ignore her. Just experiencing that, it hurt like a to her. But she has no right to feel that, right? 

'After all I've done to her.' Taeyeon says in her mind. 

The midget sighed, exhaling from . This caused a puff of visible air to appear. Taeyeon closed her eyes, stuffed her hands in her front jean pockets, and inhaled. Then, she slowly exhales. She slowly opens her eyes to find no one in front of her. Taeyeon is completely alone, standing in the middle of the street. She turns around and finds no one else is there. 

'Ah. That's right. It's just in my mind again.' Taeyeon thinks. 

Then, she resumes walking.

Author's Note: I know. I'm sorry. I have other fanfics too, but I listened to ITNW ballad version and I was inspired. I just have to write this down. I'm not abandoning any stories though. I'll finish each and every one of them, unless I die first but hey, that's a different story.
