mom: *knocks on my door* siwon, you're assigned to be with yuna in the hospital tonight.

Me: *opens the door* ah.. Neh? Until tomorrow morning?

Mom: ne, cause I'll be in the office until dawn to finish my report.

Siwon: dont worry mom, I will take care of my little sister.

 

It's almost 6 when I left the house, I made sure to myself that i unplugged everything and checked the windows and doors. After 20 minutes I arrived at the hopital where yuna is confined.

 

*knock knock*

 

yuna: come in! 

 

I heard her shout, I opened the door and her eyes were glued on the television

 

me: busy?

Yuna: *turns around* oppa? Yay! *weakly smile*

me: eyyy. How are you? *sits beside her*

yuna: still sick and green.

Me: i see that. Hahaha

yuna: oppa.. I made a new friend here.

Me: really? Is she a patient here?

Yuna: ne. She's very nice to me, i met her this morrow.

Me: well that's nice..

 

I fed her with some soup I cooked before leaving, she's still weak as ever. Tis' almost past 10 when we slept. It's so cozy and cold, until I heard a commotion outside because of curiosity, I peeked on the a hole on the door, the Strange thing outside, it's all red. I rub my eyes and when I peeked again

the hall changed into it's natural color

 

yuna: o-oppa..

me: *turns around* ne, yuna?

yuna: what are you doing? *rubbing her left eye*

me: ah.. me? ani, nothing. lets go back to sleep

yuna: arasso.

 

 

the next day I prepared my things, I wanna go home but yuna doesnt want to. She said that I should meet her new friend 

so I stayed cause I was too kind. XD

 

*knock* *knock*

 

yuna: maybe that's Her.

me: her? your friend?

yuna: ne.

 

 

I opened the door and there was a beautiful girl infront of me, her pale skin matches her long black hair

she's wearing a hospital gown. I looked at her but in return she only smiled at me and I nodded

 

yuna: unni!

_________: yuna, how are you?

yuna: I'm okay cause you're here!

me: *clears throat* excuse me miss, may I know your name?

__________: oh, I'm hana. 

me: I'm siwon, her older brother

yuna: yiiiiiiie~ unni and oppa!

hana: aish! yuna stop teasing.. *blush*

 

I saw her face turned red, she seems to be a nice person. for 4 straight days, she's always in our room

I became more attached to her, until I realized to myself that I've fallen for her

 

*knock knock*

 

me: *opens the door* heey!

hana: hi!

yuna: unni! 

hana: *sat beside yuna* feeling well already?

yuna: ne.. I'll be discharge tomorrow morning *sob*

hana: aigoo~ don't worry, I'll visit you sometime

me: hana, when will you be discharge?

hana: *looks away* I still dont know yet

me: why? you look healthy!

hanna: no, It's... I dont know, siwon oppa.

 

I kept quiet and there was an awkward silence, yuna and hana spent their time together while I'm asleep

hana said that she wanted to play with her more

 

 

the next day, the nurse took yuna's dextrose after that we started to pack yuna's clothes

yuna was sad because she might not see hana anymore

 

me: eomma, I'll just buy drinks.

eomma: ne, just be here before 9am

 

I checked the time and it's 8:23 am, I smiled and got out incase I came cross hana

I was a bit lucky when I saw her sitting on one of the waiting chairs

 

me: hana~

hana: oh? oppa? *smiles weakly*

 

I sat beside her and she looked down, I was worried why she's gloomy today

maybe because yuna will go home? I guess so

 

me: hana, why so sad? 

 

I tried to lift her chin but she push my hand

 

hana: dont... dont talk to me

me: wa-wae?? is there something wrong with me?

hana: *looks up* oppa, I'm so sorry..

 

I was so shocked with her eyes are red, I almost jumped and ran.. I was so scared 

but I resisted it, she started to cry.

 

hana: ... sorry, I dont want to leave because I've fallen for you

me: what? I dont understand

 

she handed me a paper with a room number on it, I was worried and confused at the same time

I hugged her and she hugged me back

 

me: I love you too, hana

hana: *kisses my forehead* someday oppa, we'll meet again.

I have to go, maybe eomma is searching for me

me: ah.. ne. 

 

I was left dumbfounded, I stand up and bought some drinks.

I kept the paper on my pocket. I entered our room and everything is ready to go

 

 

We arrived at our house and I headed straight to my room

I took off my clothes and the paper fell on my jeans' pocket, I picked it up and suddenly a cold wind 

blew, my body shivered and I decided to go to the hospital again.

 

 

me: eomma, I'll just go somewhere okay?

eomma: ne! buy me yogurt!

me: ne~ 

 

I closed the door and hurried to the hospital, when I got there I asked the nurse to assist me 

to the room that hana gave to me awhile ago. 

 

*knock knock*

 

me: *opens the door* hello?

_________: hey, who are you?

me: I'm hana's friend, are your her mother?

her eomma: ah Yeah

me: Is she asleep?

her eomma: huh? no, she's in a deep coma. it's been a month.

 

 

my eyes widened and I started to cry, her mother was suprised to my sudden action

she asked me why and I told everything to her, he mom was shocked too and she hugged me 

I looked at hana lying in the hospital bed, I lay beside her and kissed her lips

 

 

After two days, I received a news about hana I found out her body finally gave up and she died yesterday

I cried and I told yuna about it but she wont believe me. I went to her tomb and lay flowers

a familiar voice from the past said, I turned and it was hana. I fell out of shock

she giggled 

 

hana: hey, I didn't apologized about how I acted when I first met you

me: huh? I dont get it

hana: remember when you heard a commotion outside your room? it was when I almost gave up

my mom got panicked and she called the nurses, but they gained my life back that night but my soul got our from

my body and I headed straight to your room, that time you were peeking at the hole on your door, I also peeked too.. that's why

you only saw my eyes, it's color red. see? *shows her eyes*

 

I was shocked and scared the the same time, I looked at her and she smiled

 

me: .. are.. are you going to eat me?

hana: aniii! *laughs* i just wanted to say my last goodbye to my true love

me: me? true love?

hana: ne~ *comes closer* yes, you. *kissed my lips*

 

after that she disappeared, I saw feathers scattered on the grass

I touched my lips and a wide smile formed on my lips

 

"look how lucky I'am I got a kiss from an angel"

I said to myself

 

when I got home I saw yuna on the living room, she was talking to herself

 

me: yah! stop talking to yourself, you're starting to freak me out!

yuna: i'm not talking to myself, I'm talking to hanna unni oh~ 

 

she points out a vacant spot on the couch

my whole body shivered but i realized that she can be my dongsaeng's guardian angel

 

me: really? that's nice! 

yuna: she misses you oppa

me: I miss her too
