Snowy Cold Day

Description

The Story
in a
Snowy Cold Day

It's not like it's something big. A thought just came in my mind and I needed to write it down as soon as possible before I forget about it and write it differently. It has to be exactly how it must be.

Foreword

Bridge: Regardless of its genre, this is where every song slows down a bit. After that, the beat goes back to its normal rhythm and the songs ends better and stronger than its intro. Won't you agree with me?

Here goes... uhm...
I think this will be the most hurtful for a woman...

The moment that she sees the road ahead of her is getting covered by the snow storm.
Because she has to keep going forward, she tries her best to walk on that road. Every minute that passes, the snow is getting thicker and thicker, and she still hopes that her man would give her a hand even though, at the first place, it was also her fault. She knows very well that it was near impossible for her man to trust her again. That's why, this road, no matter how cold it is, she won't feel anything at all... because her heart has already become numb... The freezing cold is nothing compare to the pain in her chest. She was going through it all alone, without her man who promised to be there with her no matter what happens.

For you, what happens when the person who means the world to you loses his trust for you? He hasn't seen the whole truth yet he concluded it like how everyone did.
For that woman, if she tries more and more to reach out to that person even the road would be cold and dark, she still trusted her man. She believed that he would still hold on to her.

You know what's more painful? Her calculations were wrong. Her man didn't come and she was left there cold and numb. It felt like she was about to die.

But then... A passer-by came... He saw that woman and immediately took her to his house. He took care of her... for many days, months and years... without asking
about that cold day... why was she lying there alone? Is she trying to commit suicide by letting herself die in the cold? She isn't that crazy to really sleep there, right?
These must be his thoughts and these questions kept popping in his head no matter how much he suppresses them. The answers... he doesn't want to hear them... He had a hunch. It can't be, he thought. No, it can't be like that. That can never happen. He struggles to counter the truth.

Here's the surprising twist.
His man did come.

That cold day, he came to pick her up... but he was one step late. He came, and she's not there.
How would be the flow of the story if they really meet on a snowy cold day?
The man contacts the woman to meet her on that same restaurant where he used to bring her. However, the woman is not the same person that he knew. Her once warm comforting voice became cold... no, even more colder like the snow.

Because you let go of my hand that day, I, swore to forget about you forever, for as long as i live.
Now it was the man's turn to feel the pain, despair, and death.
The woman knows exactly that feeling. She knew it would feel like you're dying that's why she wants to make him feel that way too. But her heart is more softer than she thought. If it weren't for that person, I would have died. But my man... would there also be a person to pass by and save him?
She couldn't sit still. She can't sleep or think properly.
No. He was the type of person to push away people around him even though deep inside he absolutely want them to stay with him.

Upon realization, she immediately went to see his man. She was running as fast as she could as if time is running out for them, as if she would die if she couldn't make it in time, as if the road ahead of her is fading.

As she reached the place, the man was after all okay. No broken bones, no bruises, or anything like that.
There was... just... tears.

Tears of happiness. Tears of missing someone that meant the whole world to him. Tears of apology. And tears of promise.
I was angry back then. I let my anguish get the best of me. It blocked my view and i didn't notice that i was losing you. Sorry, it took me this long. I love you...

Yep! That’s a wrap, guyz! What do you think about this? This one common plot, it happens in almost all stories, I know. There’s no uniqueness in it. I was just merely narrating a story from previous writers.
There! I confessed!
So, don’t bash! Arasso?!
Just…Comment on it…? Hehe.

Don’t reprint, reproduce, or plagiarise.
HAH! As if! Kimchi_susi, dream on!
