Choose

 

“Sulli…  Sulli…  Sulli!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” She yelled at the top of her lungs, scared, while being dragged away.  I couldn’t do anything, I was tied up to a chair and she was my weakness who got taken away, there was nothing I could do.  All I did was look away.  She was my best friend.  

    “HAHAHAHAHAHA!”  Krystal laughed loudly.  I turned to look at her.

    “Poor Amber, her best friend didn’t even try to save her.”  Linda smiled.  I couldn’t do anything.

    “What do you want from me? Do you think getting her will do anything?”  I asked her.  We were in this abandon house, everything looked like it was going to fall any minute.  Though this is an abandon house, I know we were still in the city.  We were in the living room, my legs were tied to both of the legs of the chair, my hands were tied up together behind my back.  Krystal, she’s my ex boyfriend’s ex girlfriend.  

    “HA! No, that is why I brought in….”  She stopped, “Bring him out.”  I looked around to see who she brought.  I looked to my left and there he was.

    “Minho.”  My eyes widened.  My heart pounded.  I gasped for air.

    “I’m sure I can tear your heart into bits now.”  She smiled.  Minho was knocked out.  He had blood running down at the side of his face like he’s been hit on his head.  

    “Krystal, Minho has nothing to do with this, you have to let him go, you have to let Amber go too.”  I was breathing hard, my heart was aching from seeing Minho like that.

    “Now, what’s the fun out of that?”  She walked towards me.  “I have another surprise for you,”  she turned to her right, “Bring him out.”  Another person?  They brought out a skinny tall guy out.  He was wearing a cloth over his head.  The two body guards of Krystal’s pushed him down on his knees and took off the cloth.

    “Siwon.”  No. No. No.  My eyes widened.  My heart broke and tears came down.  Not him.  He had a busted lip which was bleeding, he had a bruise on his cheek bone.  I turned back at Krystal.

    “Krystal, they have nothing to do with me and you, please let them go.”  I pleaded.

    “No, they have

everything to do with you.  Siwon, the guy you like so much. Minho, the guy who likes you so much and the guy you use to like.  Ha! And you think, they have nothing to do with us.”

    “TaeYang, is your ex-boyfriend, and he is mine too.  I never dated either of them.  They have nothing to do with this situation.”  I said.  Krystal walked towards me.

    “Krystal you use to be so innocent, don’t let TaeYang and your broken heart change who you are.”  I said breathing hard.

    “Well I changed.”  she got a feet away from me and turned around to look at Mong.  She then, suddenly slapped me across my face with her back hand.   I yelped.

    “Mai!”  Siwon yelled, he tried to move but her bodyguards were too strong for him.

    “Don’t give me advice when I didn’t ask for any.”  My cheek ached, when she slapped me, my face turned to the left, I can feel my cheek turning red.  I looked at Minho, he was coming conscious.  I smiled slightly to see him okay.  He woke up and they pushed him on his knees,  before then he was laying down, his hands were tied together, his legs weren’t though.  He looked at me, I knew he was worried.  I looked at Siwon, he also, looked at me.  He nodded his head to make sure I knew he was okay.  

    Krystal grabbed my cheek to face her, “You think love can really get you out of this?”  she pushed my head back hard against the chair, I shrieked, causing me to fall with the chair on the ground.  I groaned and tried to get up, but couldn’t.  If only…  Minho and Siwon tried to fight against the body guards but they were just too strong.   Krystal commanded one of her bodyguards to raise me up to sit down, and so they did.   I was looking at her face, only a feet away.

    “Choose.”  She crossed her arms.

    “What?”  She can’t be asking me to choose between Siwon and Minho.

    “Choose.  Whoever you choose, I will let go of Amber with that person.  But you have to choose wisely, who do you want alive and who do you want to die, who do you love more and who do you don’t love at all?”  I looked at Siwon…. Then, Minho…  I cried and looked down,  what am I suppose to do?  I won’t let them die because of me, but I could only choose one.

    “Let Amber go first.”  I said.

    “Alright.”  She signaled one of her other body guards to open the door to only find out that Amber was standing there.  She kicked the body guard, and started to fight the ones who were closest to her.  I grabbed my pocket knife and cut the rope on my hands, and on my legs, and I, finally escaped.  

    “Behind you!”  Siwon yelled, I kicked the the bodyguard behind me.  Krystal running towards me, she hit me across my face, I counter back and did a uppercut on her.  Amber, went towards Siwon and started to fight the bodyguards while Siwon tried to get out of the ropes, so did Minho, there was no one guarding him anymore.  Krystal’s bodyguard tried to come towards her and me.

    “No! Go get the others, don’t let them escape!  I got her.”  she pointed her fingers at Amber and Siwon.

    “No, you don’t.”  I pushed her hard to the ground and picked her up, wrapped my arms around her neck with my pocket knife against .

    “YAH!!!!”  I yelled so everyone can hear me, they turned and stopped.

    “If y0u don’t let them go, I’ll kill your boss.”  I said confidently.  My knife inches away from .  They stopped and backed away.  Some guards were next to Siwon but then, they backed away.

    “You had this all planned, smart,”  She said.  “But you’re still naive.”  It was like slow motion when she hit my stomach with her elbow and grabbed my knife and stabbed me in the chest.

“Sulli!!!!!!!!!!!!!”  Siwon and Minho yelled out.  I couldn’t breathe.  It was painful, I felt like the world flashed right before my eyes.  I could see Minho running towards me but the guards tried to stop him, it looked like he was going crazy.  He fought anyone who got between me and him.  I cried.  Krystal laughed and walked away.  Everything got blurry.  

“Sulli…”  Minho kneeled next to me.

    “Don’t…  Don’t go…  Stay with me, please.”  he said, I could see his tears coming down from his face.  He held me against his chest, the place I have always wanted to be in.  I loved him once, I will always.

    “I’m right here.”  I smiled and crest his face, he leaned in and kissed my forehead.

    “I love you, and I never told you.”  He said and wiped away my tears.  My heart ached.

    “I’m sorry.”  he said.  He then, put his hand on my wound and then he pressed in, putting pressure so the blood would stop.  I yelped as he put in pressure.  I could see Siwon and Amber trying to fight the guards.  Krystal was gone.  She knew she would get caught.  

    “Minho, stop, it’s useless.”  I could feel myself dying.  Every part of my body was shutting down, I couldn’t feel anything.  I slowly closed my eyes, it was time for me to go.

    “Sulli.. No… You can’t go, look at me, I love you.. Look at me.”  he said as he slightly shook me.  

    “I love you too.  Minho, I’m sorry.”  I said, slowly I wiped away his tears, he held my hand onto his heart.

    “Sulli, you feel that?  That’s my heart, it’s pumping just for you, it’s pumping because of you.  Without you, I can’t…”

    “Shhh…  You can…  ”  My hand dropped, I closed my eyes, and everything turned dark.  Remember, not everything may turn out the way you want it too.

 

Minho POV

    Her hand in my hand against my heart… Dropped…  She closed her eyes and died…  

    “No! No!  Sulli! Please…”  I pleaded.  She can’t go not like this.  I haven’t even showed her how much I loved her.  I haven’t even showed her the studio she wanted,  I built it just for her.  She hasn’t even had dinner with my parents. I never gave her happiness.  All I did was, make her frustrated and mad at me.  I even, made her leave me…  I sat there with her against my chest, crying.  Suddenly the cops came after, what felt like forever.  The ambulance came in too, Amber, signaled them towards me and Sulli.  

    “Excuse me, let us take her.”  the nurse said.  I nodded, my shirt was full of blood.  I was blank, I felt empty but hurt.  I left with them to the hospital so they can soe up my cut on my head.  Amber stayed behind to talk to the police about what happened.  As for Siwon, he got onto the ambulance with me.  He sat next to the nurse which was on the other side of me.  He held Mai’s hand…  

    They revived her, Mai was still breathing, she is still alive.

    “She knocked out because of the wound, she got stabbed hard and in the lungs, which caused her to not being able to breathe right, but don’t worry we will try to help her breathe as best as we can.”  She poked into Sulli’s chest, there was too much blood coming out.  

    “Help her!”  I yelled at the nurse.

    “I’m trying.”  Her pulse was racing…  I was afraid she might not make it.

    “Sulli, you know me more than I know myself, but do you know that I know you more than you know yourself?  For example, I know you would sacrifice your life for the ones you love, I know that you’ve been through so much these past few days, I also know that no matter how much you go through, you will always be here, on earth, next to the ones who need you.  Did you know, that everybody would do the same thing to you?  Didn’t you say that you wanted to be known?  Well, Sulli, you are known, not popular nor famous but known.”  he said and sighed.

    “Sulli,”  I continued,”You are a talented young woman, you’re a prodigy.  Everyone loves you, so if you give up now, what do you think they will feel?”

    “You once said, people who killed themselves were selfish because they don’t realize the people who really loved them, so don’t be selfish Sulli.”  Siwon said.  

    “Her pulse is normal.”  We both looked at the monitor, we both sighed in relief.

    “Thank you.”  Siwon said and smiled.  I could see how much he loves her…  We rushed to the hospital and got into the Emergency Room.

    “Sorry, no patients in here.”  They pushed us out and we went into the waiting room.  We waited for hours, then Amber came.

“How is she?”  

“We don’t know, it’s been almost 3 hours and they still haven’t came out yet.”  Right then, the Doctor came out.  

“Hello, I’m Doctor Lee, I’m Sulli’s doctor.”

“Hello.”  We all said.

“How is she?”  Amber asked him.

“Well, I’m sure the nurse that was in the van told you guys, she got stabbed in the chest where her lung was at, so, she couldn’t breathe, we made a small hole in , and put in a breathing tube called, tracheostomy, and it will be there until she can breathe on her own.  Her condition that comes along with that is not that great, but we’ll have to see during her days here.  She’s sleeping now, so you guys can go and visit her but don’t wake her up, and also, her stress and her wound may cause her some major issues, if you could don’t let her stress anymore.  I’m sure that you guys are like family to her and wouldn’t want that for her.”

“Understood.”  Amber said.  I walked away into the bathroom, frustrated.  How could I let this happen?  How could I make her stress so much to the point where it could cause her to die?  I’m sorry.  How could I?  Tears came down my face.

“Minho!!!”  Siwon ran into the bathroom.

“What?!”  

“She woke up!  Sulli, woke up!!!  Hurry, let’s go!”  he said happily and ran back.  She woke up?  Sulli…  I thought I was losing hope.   

“Wait for me!”  I ran back and smiled.
