She walks as the pavements were slowly getting damped. She thought it was just because of her tears, but she felt a sudden drop of water on her head. It was raining.

She likes him. She has always liked him. Soojung knows she's dumb enough, but she felt more than the usual. How could she love someone who's three hundred and sixty degrees way different than her? I never thought my heart would be more stupid than my whole being, she thought.

She stopped walking for a moment and closed her eyes. Did the rain stop? She couldn't feel the heavy drops of rain on her skin anymore. Or did she just became numb because of all these heart wrecking things she've gone through? Soojung opened her eyes and saw a familiar face in front of her, holding an umbrella over her though she's already drenched in rainwater. 

"Did you went out with him?" Soojung didn't bother to answer, but rather, she continued walking. She feels too cold to think of something right now. 

"I heard he proposed to you," he muttered. Soojung stopped from her pace. What is it to him?  It's not like she was totally unwanted by anybody, she said to herself.

"Does it matter? It's none of your business, you know" her voice trailed off, thinking that she shouldn't have said it and just run away. It's too hypocritical to think that she wants to act cool about it even though she really cares. "I'll be moving out, soon. Dad found a much better place. You don't need to worry about me pestering you anymore," she added, still not looking back. 

"Do you love him?" he fired at her,  "... do you love him more than you love me?" 

She felt more stupid of herself.

"After all these years, I've gone tired of this unrequited love, Myungsoo."
